Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw So there’s manors on this app ( purposefully misspelled) and I know it’s their choice to click the 18 plus posts or any posts they want but my point is what if I say something wrong to a manor or what if I think I did ( my compulsion ) is to take a picture of the conversation so just incase I get blocked for whatever reason or the post gets deleted I have proof I didn’t say anything bad and besides I never have …but it’s like I don’t trust myself ughhhh I know there’s manors everywhere on every social media app but just the thought of manors on an OCD app that always has very strong topics like you don’t have to go looking for them they’re just there vs things like facebook has a variety of posts and if you want to look up a heavy topic you have to search it unlike on the NOCD app it’s easier to access because everyone here is talking about their intrusives but usually nothing else … it just makes me so paranoid that there’s manors on this app …. I don’t know how else to explain it …. Hopefully I’m not coming off as wrong … if anyone is confuse please ask for clarity before you get upset or assume ❤️

Ok so I just downloaded this app like two days ago because I was looking for a OCD specialist. Maybe this is just my opinion but the posting’s on this app can be super triggering. If feels like even sharing your experience on an app like this can contribute to fueling OCD. So many people I see reassurance seeking, confessing and posting the same things multiple times to gain certainty. Makes me wonder if this app is counterproductive to the point of OCD treatment. I’m guilty of spending hours scrolling through the post trying to find people who relate to me, but in the end it makes me more anxious and fuels my OCD. Idk what do you guys think.

Hi there, I’m new to NOCD and just want to say that I’ve been depressed and feel as though this opportunity could potentially connect me to people who struggle with similar issues. We’re not certain I have ocd, but I do exhibit symptoms that do seem to fall under ocd’s general category. So I’d like to ask whoever reads this: what are some good ways to engage with this community that might benefit me the most? I’ve been seeing that people struggle with many different intrusive thoughts and some of them (for example dating related or jealousy) I’ve definitely experienced. Is there a way for me to possibly filter based on subtype, and for that matter also how can I best stay safe on this platform? I see there are trigger warnings but do people sometimes post triggering content without them? How about if I receive rude or abusive comments, things like that. I do struggle with many different intrusive thoughts and so may run into darker threads if I filter for those subtypes. Also, I tagged the subtypes that seem to apply to me the most here. Thank you!
