This disorder has nearly ended my life. Not even 1 hour ago i tried walking into a sea and wanting to end it because of this ocd and the loneliness that comes with it. For anyone out there you are not alone and always know that you have people out there who are by your side.
Do not give up! I know that going through this is fucking scary and I've often thought about giving up too, but I can't lose this battle against myself, against my own head. Live one day at a time and if you failed today, keep thinking that tomorrow could be better, we will make it!

OCD is one of the worst things in the whole entire world. I'm just a stranger but I'm so proud of you for surviving a hundered percent of your worst days, I know you got this and one day you will be able to look back/reflect and see how far you've come ♥️ you are incredibly strong
I fight every day. We all do! We refuse to let it win. I live in doubt and fear. Some days are a lot better than others, sometimes I have setbacks. If sucks, but I’ll be darned if it ruins my family or my career. Are you in therapy? On meds? That would be a great place to start.
Yeah im already in threapy and i am on sertraline but i just had a moment and just walked into the ocean. But i am getting better its just the loneliness that comes with this ocd its terrible

OCD is ruining my life, if I was brave enough I would of ended it by now, this isn't me saying I'm going to end my life by the way I just needed to get it out there.
I’m fairly new to treating my OCD and have felt crazy for most of my life. It didn’t help that no one in my life truly understood OCD and always said I was being dramatic. I very recently (within the past few months) finally got diagnosed with OCD and my whole life started to make sense. However, I recently opened up to someone I really believed I trusted about the intrusive thoughts I have and now feel worse than I ever have before. They essentially called me a psychopath and said they are worried for the people around me. Even though I would and could never hurt anyone. I’ve never felt more alone and broken in my life. I already try very hard to hide my OCD and everything associated with it because no one in my life understands so it’s been easier to deal with it myself than listen to everyone say whatever they have to say about my situation. After what happened today I’m even more inclined to just keep it to myself. I don’t know what I’m expecting from writing this but I figure this is the best place to write what I’m feeling. Going through OCD is hard enough on it’s own. But when people are telling you they think you’re a danger to society and are crazy because of your intrusive thoughts it really hurts. I’m just tired.
Idk if anybody is religious but yesterday I was so distraught and suicidal and I pray to God to give me a reason to continue and beat OCD. I called suicide hotline and it sort of help. It's really hard to talk to a stranger what you're go through, especially when you comes to OCD. I made a call to an ocd therapist through this app and that helped. It wasnt until after hours later that I told my brother why I've become distant and I told him how I was feeling suicidal and I promise that I will go on anti-depressants. I just wanted to say that idk what's gonna happen in the future and idk if I'm able to fight ocd or seek recovery.
