I’ll start - Worried I was a zoophile because I enjoy eating octopus - Thought I was dying of a brain aneurism because my head hurt - Thought that because my towel touched the hand towel that my family uses that I had to wash them both so that way my family wouldn’t become attracted to me.
I thought a small shred of bread on my burger bun from Wendy's looked like a bug leg and then became convinced my burger was made of bugs and then I told myself I was being stupid and tried to make myself eat it anyway and I couldn't stop thinking that I just ate a bug burger and then I threw up

I asked my husband to buy a gun safe for our kitchen knives and scissors I thought for 20 years that if I sleep with my palms down I will become possessed
When I played volleyball I used to tell myself if I hit or served the ball out of the line I would not be able to control myself and go and kiss my 60 year old coach (I was not attracted to him in the slightest but I thought it would make me not be able to resist)

Curious. Some people obsess and worry about things that they believe to be unique. What is your theme? What are some of the things you’ve obsessed about?
i always worry about being near people (mainly couples) because im scared they were having sex or touching themselves. I’m scared maybe they’ll have something on their hands. i was scared to shower after a male because i was worried that he might’ve done stuff and that i would find semen somewhere or i would get pregnant. i was scared of conditioner because of this. sadly, i do it with my parents (as in i get grossed out by them/around them ) too and i find myself so nasty for thinking about my parents like that. i constantly wash my hands after anyone touches me or is even near me. i feel so gross and wrong for thinking this way the thought of people close to me having sex is so weird, i don’t even want to do that because everyone will know. am i going to be washing my hands constantly if i ever get a boyfriend??
