Taking a walk down memory lane ❤️I used to stare at the knife blocks in my house because I was picturing myself committing suicide in vivid detail terrified I would do it. I was probably 7-9. I also had one about a stuffed penguin I had, where I’d imagine it lost and crying for me :,) that one still gets me even as an adult.
Speaking about memories, I’d say my family dying. I used to go to sleep and picture them dying and then cry??? And I thought that was normal lmao But thoughts that became actually obsessive developed later in life. I suppose the first one was the obsession about my weight and appearance (15 y/o AND IT STARTED ON MY BIRTHDAY, the audacity) and then sexual orientation OCD, when I was in my first year at uni.

Me was avoid a house of my village bc I believed if I get close I can die. Now I just pass for the house but ocd change un anothers topics :')
when i was maybe 4 or 5 i got convinced that i could stop time by falling asleep, became terrified that i would accidentally stop time forever. don't remember my pattern of thinking exactly but i still remember that awful fear. then when i was 8 and sleeping on the top bunk, i would always be convinced i would accidentally drop something on my little brother and kill him. would have to check several times every night.
Trigger warning..? I am curious to see if anyone else has ever done or experienced this or something similar? When I was about 10, 11 years old I was cooking with my mom. I remember scaring the crap out of her because there was a hot pan on the stove and I couldn’t stop trying to touch it, so i did and my mom freaked out at me.. Another incident I’ve never told anyone was around the same age I was ironing a shirt and I had all these terrible thoughts to put the hot iron on my stomach and I almost did I remember shaking and crying i was so scared i was afraid of myself. Is this a form of OCD? I haven’t done anything like this in years but it still pops up in my head sometimes and it makes me so sad that my childhood was so painful i just thought i was crazy and held it in for so long.

anyone else ever think back to something they innocently did at a very young age and your ocd tells you it’s proof of whatever your worry or obsession is
