Just took all of my therapy assessments that were due and feel disappointed with myself that my scores have gotten worse again. I had them all at a really good baseline for a couple months but seems like I’m having a flare up. I’m disappointed in myself that I couldn’t keep it at bay for longer than 2 months.
Nobody is perfect in their journey. You’re still going and that’s the biggest thing that matters!

Don't kick yourself when your down. Everyone has setbacks certain triggers in life that set it off. Point is your speaking about it and you are aware of it. I applaud all your efforts for still trying and that my friend is an achievement Keep going

In the beginning, when I was first diagnosed.. I couldn’t accept that it was a reality.. I still struggle with validating OCD. I’ve learned to incorporate wellness methods into my daily life.. (sometimes, I’ll go years without anxiety, etc.. and then I’ll remember “oh that’s right.. I can refer to treatment methods. That’s why therapy is so beneficial.. because you’ll walk away when tools you can rely on.. in a DIY fashion
So I have GAD and OCD, harm and POCD. Up until a month or so ago I had been spike free for 2 years. I was so happy and free. The best I’ve ever felt. I was able to go off my meds and really enjoy life again. I guess a month or so ago I could feel my anxiety creeping in due to being stuck at home from Covid. Things just began spiraling and here I am back in another POCD spike. Same theme different worries every day. I’m back on new meds but it’s only been 3 weeks so Idk how well they’re working. I guess I’m posting because I’m really upset I spiraled after doing so well and I’m really upset it’s the same theme. That makes me feel like more of a bad person. Like what if it’s not OCD? Yes I know that’s the OCD talking. Ugh why can’t I just be worry free??? Have any of you been doing well and spiked with the same theme?
A month ago I was feeling so good, i was im a recovery journey, i had some bad days but then i was able to see it as a good thing. Now for 2 weeks now im on a setback and its worse day by day, now i cant even escape from my mind, i was able to see through all of this, and now this is the complete inverse of that... I cant even go back to see what i did so i do the same again to feel better but my I keep thinking that i just think i kept getting better, i was blinded by the good feelings, actually i was still obsessive, and i cant do the same things again cause it will not help... i feel alot of shame cause how I was felt so good for weeks and see through ocd and now i believe everything my mind says and i react to every thought...thats why i think i wasnt even on a good path, then i wouldnt be here. Im tired of always go back to the starting point...
