I’ve been suffering with SO OCD for a while now and the thought of late in life lesbians really scary me like what if this is all real and that’s going to happen to me. My boyfriend and I are about to hit 2 years and I’m scared for the future. :(
I have been going through the same exact thing these past few months. I have the sweetest of boyfriends and I would hate to lose him but it’s like my brain is telling me that I want something else. It’s so frustrating! And this right here about late in life lesbians scares me. Like I see something on social media about that topic and I spiral.
@Hollywood2003! I had to get off of tik tok for months because the algorithm kept giving me videos on it.
@Lillo2000 Mine is Facebook reels. Like recently there’s been this lesbian comedian that randomly popped up on my feed. And one of the videos was of her calling out to the crowd to a female that answered that she was going to leave her husband for a woman. I freaked out for days. And it still bugs me.
@Hollywood2003! That would bug me too. One of the questions I ask myself when I spirit is if I see myself doing that now in the present and the answer is no always so I try to remember that what ifs aren’t real and in the future I will think the same as I do now
Same every week or two weeks the topic in my OCD changes and these past two weeks it’s been this and I’m like how do I make this better I’ve never thought about this is this way until my OCD started and it makes me question everything about myself and I hate it it’s like I’m playing ping pong with my brain like back and forth
@Anonymous My OCD used to jump like that too until I realized the SO OCD was the main on triggering the other ones and then it stopped and now I just have SO OCD. It really is a mental battle with yourself it’s awful
@Lillo2000 Yes some days are better than others but if sucks so bad because it’s like your trying to convince yourself I’ve been with my boyfriend for many years now and I’m like I never questioned us or my sexuality why now !? I hate OCD and how the topic constantly changes
@Anonymous It’s was def a sudden life change I never expected or saw coming. And I’ve never thought of women sexually only men so yeah def weird times rn

My soocd feels like it takes up everything in my life. The triggers are everywhere. I am a straight female, 18, and I have a wonderful boyfriend, my ROCD used to be my main theme but now it’s shifted to SOOCD. I’ve always since I was a little girl dreamt of having a “prince” and a family. And when I experienced bad ROCD I feared that when I start a family it wouldn’t be with my partner. But now with SOOCD whenever I think of my future of having a family I have intrusive thoughts about it being with a girl(really embarrassed to share that)..and I just don’t like it! I wish I didn’t have those intrusive thoughts. I’ve always loved imagining a future with my boyfriend and now I feel like OCD has just taken that over. Anyone else? It’s like the intrusive thoughts are almost instant. So annoying!! Sometimes I fear this will last forever😫even though I know it won’t.
struggling with this theme currently. i am worried that i am secretly a lesbian and i am just leading my boyfriend on because i like his attention. i don't think this is actually true as i do truly love my boyfriend, but i'm worried anyways. my ocd is making me question if my love for him is romantic or just platonic.
Hi everyone! I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the way that I did about something related to SO-OCD… I’m finally discovering that I might have this sub genre of OCD and have had it for a very long time. I have always felt awkward around other women especially in more intimate situations (like changing in the same room, laying in bed together or giving compliments about looks). All of this hit me like a ton of bricks when I got into a relationship with my boyfriend 2 years ago and our sex life started to decline after about 9 months of us being together. It makes me feel extremely uncomfortable and I obsess over finding out why I have grown not attracted to him sexually. Am I a lesbian? Am I just depressed? Am I falling out of love with him? Was I ever in love with him? The list goes on and my obsession with it grows stronger. I’m so scared I will have to break up with him because I do love him and love spending time with him. I’m scared to start ERP therapy because I’m worried I’ll realize that it’s best to just let him go 😭
