Loneliness

I want to encourage everyone who comes across this to reach out to the people you want to reach out to. For so long, I know I felt under an obligation to be so self-sufficient in managing my life, that I didn’t need to rely on anybody. But this a sad and lonely philosophy. It denies the part of us that blossoms when we share our lives with other people. And I don’t want anyone else to have to experience that, so long as I can help it. I want people to feel free to love unconditionally and BE loved unconditionally. So show them your whole soul. Bright as the stars. I don’t think there’s a risk more worth taking.

I totally agree! There’s a lot of self help videos out there saying “do it alone.” But just because we CAN do it alone, doesn’t mean we should. I agree having people by our side makes us stronger. Seeing others perspectives can help us see our problems from different angles as well.

@Anonymous Oh yeah … I relate to you so much there! Especially with social anxiety (which I have loads of), you can feel like you’re just fundamentally a burden on everybody. But you are SO much more than that. And I hope you know that the people who care will see that, and have seen that. They don’t need convincing. 😌

I remember listening yo a homily at mass once and the priest spoke about how it is basically wrong not to try and keep in touch with those relationships we have let go or whatever. It really made me think. I mean what do any of us have to lose when we try to reach out to some NOW....AND if you are missing that relationship, why not try? A call, a letter, a text, etc....

Can all the people that feel like their theme is a truth let me know I’m not alone. I’d appreciate that a lot. I’m really struggling Just feels like it’s the truth and I’m doing everything in my power to ‘deny’ or ‘suppress’ it. Best wishes to all 🤍

Alone

I’m feeling very alone lately, no one to relate to , no one to really understand. I feel like these days it’s so hard to find real friendships that help with how hard life is lately . Sometimes I get so scared that I’m going to end it all one day just out of no where because of how overwhelmed I feel .

Feeling Isolated
