What are some songs, movies, tv shows, books that make you feel safe? For me I have a playlist of songs that I add to over time. I only have three on there at the moment but they help me so much. (Something) by The Microphones Black Wave by The Shins Rosyln by Bon Iver and St. Vincent Iāll also imagine a storm outside, or imagine myself living in a lighthouse :p Hbu!?

I also like watching Jerma playthroughs, playing minecraft, and scrolling on tumblr
Anything George Harrison, watching Seinfeld, reading.
I do my best to stay busy so I can think about other things I don't care how many different things I think of as long as I'm thinking about something and I'm not idle and I sit back and say hey wait a minute I have this disorder creeping up on me you know psyche myself so I just stay busy
for comfort shows i'd say my little pony: friendship is magic definitely. for music, probably breakcore/happy hardcore just as a general genre. and for comfort characters i have spamton from deltarune (not really even sure why? my brain chooses the weirdest things sometimes) and one of my OC's. cant really talk much about shows and stuff since i mostly watch youtube, but some youtubers i find comfort in or just generally like are peanutbuttergamer, and dantdm. a lot of these things are things that i find comfort in because i grew up watching them

Letās take a mental breather from OCD. Answer these below and be as detailed as you wish. Whatās your favorite song at the moment? Whatās your favorite day of the week and why? Are you a mint ice cream person or a āit taste like toothpasteā person ? Iāll start: Case of You - Joni Mitchell Saturday because itās a Friday night without the Friday-day part. A.) but I respect that there are two types of palettes in the world.
Im just wondering but does anyone else deal with repetitive thoughts and or urges. Recently Iāve been wanting to listen to music but I canāt stop listening to this certain song thatās kinda depressing and I sometimes will have it on loop for hours while Iām worrying about things but I canāt bring myself to listen to another song. Idk what to do, like its a good song but it makes my mental health worse if I obsess over it. Any suggestions on how to handle this?
