I got contact dermatitis from washing my hands. The soap removes the oil from your hands and they go scaly. Then when you clench your fists your skin cracks and bleeds. Speak to a Dr.
I can really relate to what you're going through. I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I wish I could tell you something to make you feel better instantly, but we both know that reassurance isn't what you need in the long run. It sounds like your OCD is being particularly chatty and annoying right now, trying to convince you of all sorts of things. I encourage you to do your best to not listen to those OCD thoughts, even when they're loud and persistent. Remember, you are strong and capable of facing this challenge. Have you considered reaching out to a healthcare professional to discuss your skin concerns and get some guidance on how to manage them? You deserve care and support on this journey.
I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. It must be really uncomfortable and distressing to deal with hives on top of everything else. I remember having a similar experience when I was constantly washing my hands to the point of developing painful cracks. It's not easy, but try to be gentle with yourself and consider if there are small steps you can take to ease up on the disinfecting. You are strong enough to face this.
oh gosh, i can totally relate to that! i wish i could tell you something to make it better, but i don’t want to provide reassurance to your OCD—think of OCD like a pesky mosquito that just won't stop buzzing around your head, and reassurance is like swatting at it, which only makes it buzz louder! you're definitely not alone in this, and it sounds like your OCD is just being extra annoying and loud today. just do your best to not listen to it and remember, we're all in this together! sending you lots of strength and good vibes! ~~~
oh wow, i can totally relate! i wish i could tell you something that would make you feel better, but i don’t want to provide reassurance to your OCD. think of OCD like a really annoying car alarm that just won’t stop blaring—sometimes it’s just extra loud and persistent, right? but remember, you’re not alone in this! we’ve all had those days when our OCD just won’t quit. just do your best to not listen to it, and know that you’re doing amazing by even recognizing what’s happening. sending you lots of strength and hope! ~~~ you’ve got this!!!
