Staring ocd (don’t read if you don’t have it)
IF YOU ONLY HAVE COMPULSIVE STARING OCD THEN STOP READING RIGHT NOW I DON’T WANT TO TRIGGER OTHER TYPES. Nearly 4 years ago I had experienced more common types of ocd and were easier to deal with from what I didn’t know that was coming later. In 2020 I suddenly started noticing that I was staring inappropriately at peoples genitals then I found out that it was compulsive staring ocd then a while later it got worse I started to experience what was called peripheral staring ocd and later on I experienced a type of staring ocd that I don’t think has a name where I stare at objects like when someones talking to me I can’t focus and my mind randomly forces me to focus on random objects or I stare at expensive things like bags or watches and people that own these things think that I want what they own or they think that Im a kleptomaniac. Basically I got to a point where I physically can’t just stare at anyone in a normal way and I lost every single person in my life from this the only people that I sometimes talk to every few months are my family other than that no one was able to accept who Ive become. Im saying this because im begging anyone that has OVERCOME this specific type of ocd to reply to this text please I know that if someone is over something hard they went through they typically don’t want to talk about it but please anyone that got over just reply and tell me what did you do to get over this did you take any medications and did they help and how much did it help.
