Lying in bed won't help, why don't you get up a read a book...refocus your mind, lying in bed only gives you one thing to focus on and that's the lies OCD tells you to get you to react, by going to bed OCD is making you use avoidance of a situation, but in reality it's making you buy into the whispers in your ears.....how many times has OCD told you about harming and cast doubt o. Your actions....and how many times have you hurt someone....I bet not once.....everything OCD tells you is a lie.....there is no truth in OCD....just lies and doubts....

Great comment. I know for me personally, lying in bed is the best way to get me ruminating on intrusive thoughts.

Then maybe it is time to fight back and reclaim your life.... remember OCD is not a separate entity, your OCD is you, you instruct it to react in a certain way with anxiety to anything you fear.....you then stand at a crossroads s bit like fight or flight mode in a certain situation, every time you react to OCD your in flight mode running away......maybe the times had come to fight....worse case scenario you will be the same as you are today if that fails....but imagine how you will feel if you don't react and view it as just another OCD thought.....and allow your anxiety to drop on its own....it can't stay permanently vay 100% it has to subside at some point...

Tell me how many times in the last 3 years has OCD been proved right in what it tells you....I bet it's 0....again proof that It just connects to your fears and doubts and tries to get you to react trapping you in a cycle of anxiety

Never lie in bed unless you sleeping or spending time with a partner especially when you are trying to recover from OCD, there is nothing to focus on except OCD thoughts and your mind is like the hamster in a cage on its wheel no matter how fast it runs it never gets anywhere, just a never ending cycle....
