Ugh tw maybe pocd ? 18 plus

Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw Tw So there’s manors on this app ( purposefully misspelled) and I know it’s their choice to click the 18 plus posts or any posts they want but my point is what if I say something wrong to a manor or what if I think I did ( my compulsion ) is to take a picture of the conversation so just incase I get blocked for whatever reason or the post gets deleted I have proof I didn’t say anything bad and besides I never have …but it’s like I don’t trust myself ughhhh I know there’s manors everywhere on every social media app but just the thought of manors on an OCD app that always has very strong topics like you don’t have to go looking for them they’re just there vs things like facebook has a variety of posts and if you want to look up a heavy topic you have to search it unlike on the NOCD app it’s easier to access because everyone here is talking about their intrusives but usually nothing else … it just makes me so paranoid that there’s manors on this app …. I don’t know how else to explain it …. Hopefully I’m not coming off as wrong … if anyone is confuse please ask for clarity before you get upset or assume ❤️

I understand you. I do erp earlier on a post that was asking about trauma and some info on it but nobody was giving it to them as they were a manor, I wanted to help and my ocd said “what if that’s wrong, what if u say something and come off wrong?”” And you know what, I still helped them and gave them advice. Everyone deserves help on this app and it’s just being mindful of what you say to them you know what I mean?? Now obviously if you want your post 18+ and a manor interacts and you don’t want them to, that’s perfectly reasonable! Obviously anyone has access to anyone’s posts but don’t let ocd make you feel like you can’t interact with anyone. I’ve had adults help me on this app bc I started here when I was a minor and I did not feel weird that they were helping me I was actually glad they were and that I wasn’t some sick freak and there are adults who have experienced this. You know? Hopefully I make sense

@dee012 No you make complete sense no worries it just makes me worry because what if I say something bad and don’t remember it or something worse I mean I’d never intentionally harm someone but there’s always the what ifs … and there’s like 13+ year olds on this app and I’m thinking like what if I say the wrong things or give the wrong advice like you said … I don’t want to sound rude but I wish there was 2 separate parts to this app . One for manors and one for adults and you have to verify something to prove you’re an adult

@Blueberrycows I get what you mean. I think a 13 year old gave me advice yesterday lol and I felt weird but like I had to just sit with it and not let my ocd get to me. But yes with sxual theme ocd it feels weird because obviously there’s manors on this app that go through it and you want to help but you don’t want to say something wrong or come off wrong especially of the context of the theme. I’ve helped people 2-3 years younger than me on ocd w/ sxual theme ocd and I felt really weird about it also and decided not to do that because it is a thin line of what can make you feel weird and like you came across the wrong way, and actually just trying to help and talk about ocd. But yes I get it! I’m not even 20 yet but helping people younger than me on ocd still bothers me even if they aren’t that young

@dee012 I mean I guess as long as they’re like 18 or 19 it’s okay but still it’s a thin stretchy line at that and not trying to reassure either one of us but it’s the parents or whatever family members job to keep track of what the kid is on and it’s not like we are actively going out of our way to say anything eggplicit now that would be different but we can’t control what others click on or do we don’t have the parental controls lol that being said manors still deserve help like you said just draw a line between the two situations before you even click on the post

@Blueberrycows Yes I feel you. I honestly feel like it’s no issue to help younger people on this app, once again like we both said, we aren’t going out of our way to say anything explicit. But I know how weird it can feel because sometimes OCD themes are explicit.

@Blueberrycows Do you know what’s really funny, the whole time I wasn’t responding to this comment, I was scrolling through all of my posts and comments from when I first got this app. Which was 2021. That just took up so much of my time. Just trying to see if the younger people I did help, or if they had seggsual theme OCD , if I said anything predatory or bad (which I didn’t..) but woww. I can’t believe I just scrolled for that long reading for that long

Online footprint,and ocd

Very brief mentions of pocd and nsfw jokes,id like this to be adults only . Repost bc i had to edit something Does anyone have experience with real event ocd attached to your online footprint etc? I keep checking old messages,trying to find old people i knew i used to talk to etc. To find out every problematic thing I did and if I've ever been unfollowed or blocked by anyone I used to be friends w online/atleast on good terms w. I am particularly concerned abt doing something bigoted,esp racist bc i have racism ocd,and doing something predatory bc of my pocd. I remember hanging around people who could use 'edgy' or offensive humour in my teens and i remember a lot of sex jokes and that i would join in on sex jokes sometimes . i dont remember details w the offensive humour as much,i feel like i didnt join in on it as much but i was definitely WAY passive abt things and prob let a lot of bad stuff slide i shouldnt have bc i didn't speak up it was wrong,I remember one friend in an online community would say slurs and horrible jokes when i was 16. I dont remember my response to it as much but i feel i didnt speak up abt it aside one time i found in the dms where he made a bad joke on a thing i shared for social justice. I cant stop going thru old messages and stuff or trying to find ppl from the past. I feel like if I don't check it now,that eventually it'll come to haunt me or that I'll stumble across it eventually. I worry what if someone messaged me on one of these apps I un-installed or on one of the accounts I don't have access to,confronting me abt all this stuff I did. I had an obsession w this back in 2020 and did check in depth on all my accounts,but now that it's been 4 years the obsession is back in full swing.

Pocd and gut feelimg

Ive vented a lot to a lot of people in the PM's about my OCD... some of them younger (minors)... because I wanted reassurance from everyone and anyone... but this situation triggers me the most because I was venting about my 18+ HOCD situations... In an HOCD support group I was in, I vented to 2 minors about my 18+ HOCD situations... The leader of the support group (that i vented to) was 17... I was 19 at the time... the other minor i vented to was younger (14-15)... the younger one told me she was uncomfortable when i vented to her in the PM's twice... i stopped and blocked her after she told me the second time... i kept asking the leader of the support group for reassurance for my 18+ HOCD situations for months because she kept giving me reassurance... i thought she was cute but didnt pursue her because of my age... i dont ever want to ever be a P or a MAP or a groomer in any way... I keep getting this gut feeling in my stomach that i "flirted" with the younger one that I vented to, who i blocked after she told me twice she was uncomfortable about me venting about my 18+ hocd situations... i didnt ever vent to them for malicious intent... I was trying to get reassurance for my hocd... Plus my pocd keeps saying I cant have any opinions online because of my pocd and real events ocd situations and that Im not a good person so I cant say anything online... Also i keep getting intrusive thoughts of people labelling me as a P and a MAP in the future because of these pocd real events... And i keep getting intrusive thoughts of being outcasted and "cancelled" online when someone "exposes" me for my POCD and real events OCD...

Youtubers are constantly getting accused of doing p*dophilic activity and its making me think my real events are as bad or as worse as them...
