I have the same issues! I can’t eat anything anymore. Every food I consider has a possible negative outcome that I get hung up on. I wish I could offer you advice but I’m just as lost.

honestly it’s comforting enough to know somebody else understands. i’ve never heard of it in anybody else. Today i made a little list of doable things i could do for my diet. i’m realizing eating something is better than eating nothing at a time like this. simple goals like trying to eat some fruit / some veggies or not eat a specific bad craving is a simple and respectable and huge step. idk if that helps but it’s a place to start i made a list of like 4 things to keep in mind when eating and then i’m just trying to let myself be and eat bc i’m human

it’s also like answers will come with time, you won’t know everything right away so trust that answers and clarity will come and u aren’t alone i’m proof of that now :)

I feel less alone hearing someone else is struggling with eating and it’s not just me. I get so scared that all my food is contaminated or going bad and will result in food poisoning or me getting sick with something. I have dropped from 115 lbs to 105 lbs and I’m considered underweight. I want to eat so bad. Like I’m constantly thinking of how nice it would be to eat something and feel full and energized. But ever food I think of I also think of all the ways it could make me sick.

You mentioned 4 things you keep in mind when eating... would you mind sharing? I’m trying to find ways to eat and am open to anything at this point.

Oh, i meant that like in making a personal lifestyle choice to just lessen my dairy intake but that still overwhelms me so i just make like a little manageable list of things. i personal wrote down to just eat chicken and not red meat and like that i want to try almond milk and stuff but that’s just a personal preference - if u could personalize just 4 or some small simple list of things to make a small plan for eating it might make u feel more in control and meal planning can help. i’m sorry i can’t relate to the contamination side of this issue bc i don’t struggle with that but you are still not alone and i’m sure someone else can relate x maybe post about it

Oh I see. That little list thing seems like it’s helpful. Might have to do something similar to that myself. It is still comforting to know I’m not the only one out there who has ocd affecting their diet

yeah me too. i felt crazy but now we can both know we are normal x hahah
