Any advice?

I saw a quote about “the more you taste Jesus…”, I’m not sure what exactly it said afterward but my brain sexualized the tasting him part. And I imagine Jesus before me and how he cares for me, but how he also technically would have had a taste. I think I’m able to “like” the thought because of a dominant caring man in a sexual way, but I obviously hate the fact it involved Jesus. Is this blasphemy? Is he going to be mad or dislike me for this thought?

Hes so merciful:) Stop compulsing and go live. It seems like you seek reassurance as one compulsion. Maybe think about Christ without seeking reassurance and focus on the present moment. Reading a bible verse and meditating on it while letting the thought exist in your head. The more you do that, the more the thought loses power

@slippery_salad Im convinced theres a spiritual aspect to ocd. The thoughts appeal to your concupiscience due to the fall of man and Satans dominion over the world. But I think if Satan can plant mini seeds like this in our head, he can dictate much of what we do, or at least he thinks he can. Must trust in the loving mercy of God despite our fallen nature and our weak minds

Hey, I’m a Christian and I wanna explain what this means to me. “The more you taste Jesus…” is really just the action of getting closer to Him. Spending time in the Word, worshipping, praying, etc. God would never look down on you for thinking like that. It’s a thought from the enemy. You are not gross or blasphemous for thinking it. God loves you so unconditionally, a thought could never take you further from Him. He would never be angry with you for a thought that you did not control. As humans influenced by the world, thoughts will pop up. You may feel bad, but it’s ok. We are told to take our thoughts captive and to purify them. It takes time.

@lovelylizzygrace I know it’s bad to give in to compulsions, but I do and so I keep replaying the thought in front of me and making sure to feel that I do not like it and deciphering the aspects that I DO (and the parts that I do I mentioned in the post). So with all that it just makes me feel like I really do think that way in one way or another and I just don’t want to disrespect Him.

@Anonymousssssss What I said did not in any way mean that your thought came from you. It is from your flesh (the enemy.) From the part of you that wants worldly satisfaction. Whether that is popularity, riches, or anything else other than God. (Idols) You don’t need to hold yourself to thinking that you’re gross or horrible or disrespectful. I know it’s scary that you did think that thought, but your mind is human. You can’t ever be perfect. The best thing you can do is pray to God to take over your thoughts and remind yourself that no matter what, thoughts come and go. Some are good, some are bad. Your brain’s reaction is purely because you are a human living in the world and because of the things you are influenced by. That sentence that you mentioned is something that can be taken in a sexual way in the world. Our minds are like a sponge. We absorb all that we consume. Through what we see or hear. Romans 12:2 “do not conform to the patterns of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” The Lord is so merciful and loving. He would never forsake you. Be matter what you do or think. Stay in prayer. Don’t get caught up in guilt. Seek wise counsel from those around you. Find scripture that gives you comfort and hold it tight. Have faith that God will see you through. He is already there waiting for you with open arms. Find comfort in Him.

Idk what to do

I don't even know if I should put this here, but I have the greatest girlfriend in the whole world, and I love her very much, but my thoughts keep saying I'm going to hurt her, so I can hurt God and idk what to do, I feel so disgusted and idk what to do, and the worst part is why does some part of me just not even care idk what to do anymore, it's almost like I'm turning into this horrible person and idk what to do, I'm really not sure what to do. I have really been able to be happy I just feel like I don't deserve it and I want to care about people and God and I want to be a good person, but a part of me shuts off my caring nature and idk what to do, I'm really freaking out because it's like IDC and idk what to do I just feel so nasty and scared because why don't I feel like I care. Why does it feel like it's something I wanna do idk, what to do I'm really freaking worried. Also I don't want OCD but a part of me says I need it or I like these thoughts and idk what to do, as im writing this i just feel like laughing and idk what to do, i really judt want jesus to hug me and say everything will be alright, i am such a monster....

Self pleasure and intrusive thoughts :/

I’m sharing this bc I need advice or even support from anyone who can relate. If you can’t relate and don’t think you’ll say anything helpful or kind pls don’t comment anything… I’ve been struggling with somethings that’s making me question myself. There has been moments while self pleasuring when I get intrusive thoughts, in those moments it feels like I’m enjoying or even self pleasuring myself bc of the thought. Right after I immediately have an anxiety attack and my HEART drops bc it feels terrible I feel like a disgusting monster :( ppl have told me I haven’t done a bad bc of how intense my guilt and panic are but I keep thinking that MAYBE I made a horrible decision in the moment and the guilt is just realising that it’s just wrong this doesn’t make sense to me because I’ve always told myself that I would never act on this in 1 million years and I’ve been known that these things are wrong so I’m just like constantly questioning myself these feelings and exact same situation has happened two times already I even promised myself that I wouldn’t act on anything beforehand and yeah, I still felt like I did act on my thought during my alone time I’m genuinely convinced that I’m a horrible and it’s even got into the point where I don’t wanna be here anymore and I don’t even think this is my OCD :( tbh

I’m panicking, any advice is welcomed

**TMI Warning: This post is very personal and might be uncomfortable for some.** I’m feeling panicked and need to get this out. I have intrusive thoughts that make me question my morals, especially about consent. I have a CNC preference (consent to non-consent), but I feel so conflicted because I know how horrifying and heartbreaking real non-consensual acts are. The thought of anyone suffering in that way is so awful, yet I get thoughts that feel like I’m justifying the real thing—the immoral thing. Sometimes, I feel like I have to focus hard just to truly condemn it, and that terrifies me. It’s hard to separate these thoughts from who I am, and I’m scared it means something terrible about me. I feel so much shame for having a CNC preference. I know it’s rooted in consent, but I feel like I’ve never had certainty that I fully condemn the real thing. I’m scared that deep down, I might think it’s all the same.
