I really dont know if it is ocd anymore I dont want certain sexual things with my bf anymore that i used to like When i envision it with a girl it is so easy to envision and it feels like i want that , that will give me the satisfaction This feeling is making me really question if i am still into men , desire men sexually Is this still ocd , i really dont know anymore , as it is a feeling it is too real
OCD affects your brain. Your brain controls your thoughts, feelings, and the sensations you feel in your body. Continue with therapy and step through all your fears with the faith that you’ll come out victorious at the other end. You will.
this is 100% ocd, ocd plays tricks in your mind and will literally convince of something you’re not, for example pocd doesn’t matter who you are if you’re the sweetest person you could be worried you’re a pedo it’s terrible i know but there’s nothing you can do to stop it. the more you feed into it the longer it will stay, if you have that thought again instead of thinking omg did i like that thought or it feels easier to be with a. girl then a men simply say maybe! go and do soemthing you love talk to dominoes, that thought will still be there but you need to sit with the discomfort. trust me, anyways i hope you feel better friend
I know how you feel. I’m a married man to a women with two beautiful children. Mine started 4 months ago. At this time, in the space of a couple of days or even the very same day, I lost attraction to opposite gender (females) and had severe ’false’ attraction to same gender (males). It made me sick to my stomach, I couldn’t bare going shopping, I couldn’t sleep or eat, constant thoughts non stop. It seemed I was attracted to every male no matter what. I couldn’t watch anything or listen to music which I use to love! This still affects me but not too much. I had a great week last week which I knew this wasn’t who I am. I’m going through rough couple of days but deep down something is saying this is not who I am, it’s OCD. Be strong, you’ve got this. Hardest thing is to start not caring… easier said than done but that’s when I had my good week. OCD will throw everything at you from every angle.

Does anyone else with SO-OCD struggle with imagining a future partner and checking feelings? That’s been my biggest compulsion, and now I feel like I don’t want to end up with a man someday, or that if I do I’ll feel sad or lonely. I’m also sitting here imagining being with women and I can’t tell if I like the sexual thoughts or not anymore, or if my negative reactions mean anything. My face scrunches and I feel anxious and my temperature rises. I’ve been off this app for a couple weeks but still feeling anxiety pretty steadily. I keep imagining the future and getting this feeling and voice that I’m gay and I need to come out to everyone. It’s distressing and I don’t feel like myself anymore
im having a unusually hard flare up for two months. ive never had it this bad before (ive had this on and off for many years - thank god not constantly.) lately, i keep having these images in my head and scenarios in my head of me "coming out" in the future and ending my relationship with my amazing fiance who i love dearly. he knows everything but i still feel like i am constantly lying to him, my family, and friends. i need to know that this is something the SO-OCD can do to you? the weird thing is, is that i have never been attracted to woman. i do admire their beauty and wish to LOOK like them or have a specific feature they have, but i dont have any urges to like be with them yet i am dealing with this really bad flare up. My brain keeps telling me that since i have never tried it, i would never know, and i am just getting really distressed from it. i just want to be happy again and it seems impossible. I am convinced i am only person that is using SO-OCD as an excuse. Any guidance or advice, or anything really, will help. i just feel alone and scared and sad all the time.
I’m 25 and never ever thought this before my soocd relapse. I have a bf of 5 years. Never been a high libido kinda girl. Don’t get me wrong I do get turned on by my bf but not like every day you know? - That had always been in the back of my head, is this normal and ok? But my ocd has latched onto the most scariest what if EVER. My brain is now saying How do you know you won’t prefer to sleep and kiss girls if you haven’t tried it: and it’s that unknown that is scaring the shit out of me. I DONT AND NEVER HAVE wanted to sleep / kiss a girl. But now my intrusive thoughts is all I think about!!! I don’t want I don’t want I don’t want??? So why does my brain think BUT WHAT IF??? I know ocd thrives off uncertainty which is why I think this is happening? But I don’t wanna find out or work it out because all I want is to be with my bf and marry him!! Is this just the epitome of OCD?
