Just right OCD
Hey guys just wondering if anyone suffers from this type of OCD. I feel a big struggle to even begin things because it doesn’t feel right or if I resume things it doesn’t feel right. Anyone have any advice ? Thank you

I can totally relate to this. Are you working with an OCD therapist? They can design ERP exercises for you. For example, I could never finish a book because I would reread and reread thinking I’d missed something or if I’d put the book down for a time I’d have to start from the beginning again. My therapist assigned me to read just 5 pages per day without going back, which was much more doable.
Thank you for sharing your experience. That persistent feeling that something isn't 'just right' can be exhausting and truly interfere with daily life, which is characteristic of how OCD can manifest. Recognizing this pattern is an important step. Help is here at NOCD and we can assist you in finding outside help if needed too.
