Don’t worry. This is totally NORMAL to have struggles like this. We think about things too much, and it gets confusing. Just don’t worry about whether it’s real or not. Just DECIDE what you want to DO (without the OCD), and then do that every day.

@Mk3 Yep, it’s all fueled by OCD. Don’t try to figure it out. Don’t try to check if it’s real or not real. It doesn’t matter if it’s real or not. Just let the thoughts run freely, whether they are real or not. The point is, like I said, it doesn’t matter if the thoughts are real or not. You just need to make the concrete DECISIONS that you want to make—then follow that path. And don’t give the thoughts a “second thought” LOL 😂

@Mk3 But if we are always wondering if the thoughts are real or not, we are wasting too much energy. Just let them go whether they are real or not. When we have OCD, we are too confused to distinguish what thoughts are real. There is waaaay too much interference and funny connections going on in our brains to figure any of this out. So try secret is to stop trying 🛑😀

@Mk3 Practice ignoring the guilt. Treat it like any other emotion that is fueled by OCD—and just ignore it. Remember, we are going to have to make decisions and move forward even though we feel UNCERTAINTY. There will always be uncertainty! We have to practice moving forward anyway. You can do this!!! Just keep ignoring the OCD and keep moving past uncertainty. It all takes practice, but it will get easier and easier 😀😀

@Mk3 Yes, it’s based on OCD. It’s only there because the OCD is there. Is not worth even considering it. Just don’t worry about it!

@Mk3 Just keep practicing your techniques to deal with OCD no matter how persistent the thoughts are. In other words, whenever the thoughts come up, keep practicing your OCD tools. Every time. You got this!!!! It will get better in time!! Everything is okay :):):)
