It all depends on the person. As a guy, I want to have kids and I already know how I want to raise them and teach them but not every guy is like that just like not every girl, I know some girls my age who don't have the faintest clue for that. It's all in the person, how they are raised and what they are taught. I was raised to be rough and strong but to have a soft spot for this purpose.

Oh thank you can I ask cause your a guy? It’s feels likes it’s rare to have the father care about the son but the father will care about the daughter. I see this a lot in Asian culture, what do you think the reason is behind, the father and son not having a bond in some culture

@Peridottttt I think it's a more passive bond, like we don't always activity say I love you, this and that but that doesn't mean the father doesn't care, he feels that it goes without saying but daughters need to have an active relationship like that it is shown more to them then sons.

@Itz Ohhhh so sons are taught to be more non sensitive so the father doesn’t always says I love you but it’s different for the daughter. I’m was just curious

@Peridottttt That's about it, father's often get a bad rep for no reason.

@Peridottttt I believe it is because of gender differences affecting how affection is expressed. From what i believe a father will be much more affectionate towards his daughter and a mother towards her son but that usually occurs after a certain age like a 15 year old boy won't have the same relationship with his dad as a 15 year old girl

@Itz Like dogs the father has to be separated from the pups or it will attack it and the father dog usually doesnt care and the mother did all the work

@Peridottttt Well no the father most certainly in most cases won't beat his son and there are just as many abusive mother's as there are abusive father's.

@Peridottttt Maybe they do in private or maybe that simply isn't part of their relationship, it doesn't have to be if though they probably love each other

not necessarily, I think boys and girls are taught different things/gender roles from a young age (ex: boys be tough and strong and girls be nurturing and emotional) so those roles are deeply rooted in our society but I do not think that boys or girls are inherently nurturing or not nurturing

I feel like someone boys aren’t talking to their father as much, but girls talk to their moms alot

It feels like sometimes the father don’t care much about their sons but care more about their daughters

@Peridottttt yeah maybe that’s the case sometimes. I really just think most of these “gender” questions are engrained so much into our society, it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s made up. gender is not always so black and white, there are many grey areas within the whole construct. for example, a woman can be very nurturing, but it is also possible for a woman to not have that quality and to be not nurturing at all. the same way, it is possible that a man can be nurturing as well. it’s not about gender, it’s about the person
