I understand, I am not a therapist, just a fellow member, the fact that we are all here is indicator that we have ocd and need to do exposures. Reassurance will only help so much.
@AnxietyGirl I also have learning disabilities etc so the past things that made me feel turned on, obviously I didn’t understand it was wrong, but now I’ve developed ocd, and someone who’s truly a bad person wouldn’t develop ocd because they wouldn’t care

Try some gentle bouncing on the balls of your feet and eft tapping. If you want to rest, try yoga nidra meditation on insight timer.

@AnxietyGirl @AnxietyGirl I find things a turn on things that a weird. For example if I mention I change nappies I find it a turn on that others know that I can see kids genitals. However, I have no concern that it’s the kids genitals that turn me on because it’s not. ‘All I want to do is care for them. I would never harm a child and have no sexual feelings towards them. However, in concerned to why I find others changing kids nappies attractive….. please help me. Or I might mention it because I find it attractive that others have the power to work with kids (like kindness) or doing their nappies. However when I do nappies I get no sexual feelings at all towards the child, it’s just others mentioning it. It could be I find it a turn on that they are taking care of the child. I’m scared tho, what does this mindset mean?

Hey! Yes, all I can say is, the key is in the constant stickiness of intrusive thoughts and why they take over in that fashion. That's usually the key. That this is an OCD thing. Do your exposures! You got this.
@AnxietyGirl But before ocd I had these feeling, or purposely showed a picture of a kid cause I felt aroused but I don’t even know tbh I can’t remember. Weird stuff made me feel turned on. But I don’t think it’s the kids directly if you get me?
It's best you talk to your therapist and use your coping tools
