Please see my last post anybody, I need advice and help. Basically I'm having these symptoms but I can't tell if it's real or not real and I don't wanna spend hundreds of dollars at a doctors appointment to ask about it if it ends up being false sensations
You don’t have to call it an eating disorder if you’re not comfortable with that. I just wanted to tell you a lot of the symptoms you’re having are possibly because you’re not eating enough. You could also possibly look up the correlation between ocd and eating disorders and see what comes up.

I’m so sorry I wish I knew more to help 🙏🙏 but if it keeps happening a lot and the symptoms get really worse then you should check it out. But again, it might not be real right now. I hope for the best
Thank youu, I've never had an appetite my whole life but it's getting to the point I can't eat more than a few bites of food without feeling like a balloon inflating and I don't know why.. my mom says i inherited her condition called gerd but I don't wanna get tested unless I'm sure because it'll be such a waste of money
To be honest, those all sound like the same symptoms I had whenever I wasn’t eating enough. If you don’t mind me asking how much are you normally eating in a day?
It changes every day but I usually eat a few bites of things here and there and never finish anything besides small snacks or drinks. But I don't know why I'm full after eating a few bites is the thing
Well I see you have emetophobia and whenever I had it severely I barely ate a few bites every day, if anything at all. I was nauseous all the time from the lack of food, I was bloated from not eating and whenever I did eat I could only take a few bites or I would be nauseous/bloated, and I would get full off of those bites. I also lost fifteen pounds. I’m not a doctor and I’m not going to diagnose you or anything, but it sounds the same as mine and I certainly had an eating disorder, so maybe if you look up some symptoms of an eating disorder it’ll match up.
Thanks! Can you clarify what you mean by eating disorder? I don't have any picky eating issues or body image problems in any way so I don't see how it's an eating disorder
You actually don’t have to have body image problems to have an eating disorder! For a lot of people with eating disorders it’s more about control. I’m also definitely speaking on my experience because a big reason I didn’t eat is because I was so scared I was going to throw up, the food wouldn’t be cooked properly, I would get food poisoning, etc. I would just suggest you finding where the root of the problem stems from with food.
Thats how I feel, I'm also afraid of like food poisoning and not being cooked properly *basically anything related to causing sickness)* but I don't know if I'm comfortable saying I have an eating disorder just because it's so general? Like if there was a specific name for it that'd be great but I'm not seeing any
