Religion?

Im not religious or anything I do believe in God I guess that would be Christianity but I don’t call myself a Christian due to me in life seeing a lot of Christians are such hypocrites and something regarding to this on TikTok has been very triggering for me I don’t know has anyone seen those people inducing fear by basically telling people that they will be going to hell if they don’t give their life to Jesus Christ because of the end times ? Like I don’t understand if our religion is about love and etc why are most Christians hateful and just bad… and what is the end times it seems like they say it’s the end times every year and how would you even know if it was the end times your not God like I think a lot of Christians think they know everything because who even gave you the right to start telling everyone the end times are coming … and like now I’ve been scared I’m go to hell so now my thoughts has me freaking out on me going to hell

Many's love has grown cold because they love their own bubble reality, ignoring what's needed for others or good for themselves. Trust in Christ alone. He said this would happen, that many would claim to serve Him yet serve only their own spiritual ego or what feels right(and yes, "feeling right" can be fueled by a terror mindset).

A lot of the types of people you are mentioning project a lot and feel as if they invalidate their own beliefs if they don't share it. The fear mongering is a bit silly and I've seen a lot of ai generated videos around this too. I believe in a god that is unconditionally loving, whatever religion or non-religion that may be.

I’m a Christian. This is a doctrine I’ve struggled with. But usually it’s tough looking at this perspective from our human eyes. God is Holy, and scripture says “there is no one righteous”. And He says he has set eternity in the hearts of man. I believe people can seek and know God even without entering a church by His displays of creation. God suffered and died for us. And this is a free gift! But he’s a God of justice as well. Sin can’t go unpunished. And humans aren’t basically good in my opinion. We want to be God. Be in control and we are capable of evil, we don’t naturally follow Jesus. God will make all things right in the end. He knows our hearts. And “will reward each person by what he has done” at the end. Trust and declare you are in Christ and satan has no power over your life ❤️

And you know I think it’s ironic the religion it’s about love and non judgment but honestly the people who follows it from the beginning of time has been the exact opposite

The thing with following Christ is that you should be following what He says and not what fellow Christians do unless it's to correct them but do not let them deter you. Yes, it most likely is the end times but if people warn you it's so you can turn to God and repent and turn away from your sins and accept Yeshua and read the Word to strengthen you whether hard days come soon or are further in future. We will never know for sure. I am currently struggling big time because I have sins that are still affecting people I love and I need a miracle for God to help us. I would be considered a hypocrite though if I point you to Christ it's to help you, you know? I know I'm far from perfect.

I always want to get close to God and my ocd is always related to me thinking I'm going crazy however my ocd also sticks to religion it kinda pulls me away because I'm scared that I'll go crazy if I focus too much on one thing or do too much of one thing..so I went to the dentist and I was waiting on my boyfriend when this man that was speaking about God came and he was speaking to me and he kept saying I should give my life to God and I told him I want to do it on my timing and he kept saying no and after a while he showed me something in the daily bread and he turned to another women that was a the desk of the dentist and say something along the lines of me being a dead little girl if I dnt follow the word of God or something similar 😔now this makes me scared and it puts a lot of pressure on me because now idk what to do anymore, and I'm lowkey trying to change and get closer to God in some way

Religion related thoughts

I don't really know if it's OCD, but lately I've been thinking a lot and in a very obsessive way that every single one of my actions, words or even thoughts will affect on how God will make decisions about my life. For example, if I lie to someone or yell at them out of anger, God will make happen something bad to me as a "punishment". I know it might seem silly, but it really really freaks me out sometimes... Does anyone feel the same? And if so, do you do something in particular to feel better? Thanks for your understanding❤️

Bible and Christ

Is it possible to follow Christ without actually believing? I want God but don't always trust and especially with Jesus/Christianity. I want to believe and I don't but I am still drawn in; it is comforting and compelling. I like what Jesus represented, I like the teachings (although don't always seem practical and seemingly so hard to live up to), and I LOVE Christian music. I love the community. It is so hard to embrace it really and it although gives me comfort brings on a lot of anxiety and confusion. I feel like I have no control to function when I am supposed to let myself be led; I don't even know what that means when I have to think and move my body to live. I want to have a strong faith in God in general without feeling condemned. I want to feel there is a God holding on to me so I don't feel so alone, restless, and lost. Who better to love than your creator? Who better to put your trust in to help you in times of despair. I cant help to think that the Bible is a myth and although if Jesus did exist was only a prophet. My conditioning and impulses are constantly rejecting it and so many times I opened myself up only to quit the next day because it doesn't stick. I am constantly met with rejecting thoughts and fear. It's not sustainable. At the same time, I love him and his story well I only read a little of the Bible and intended to sermons, etc. Another thing, how do I know what is the truth when I am getting interpretations of the Bible when reading, listening to others interpretations through pastoral sermons and other people voicing their opinion?
