Hello! I was just thinking this: Are you weird for loving your family or is your coworker weird for, finding that concept weird AND telling a coworker they’re weird. To me, they’re odd for being comfortable saying that and for thinking something is odd about your love for your nieces. Being a proud auntie is a lovely identity to have and they’re lucky to have such a wonderful adult in their life rooting for them.

@Elle<3 And everyone above is right, teenage boys can try to be edgy or sarcastic. It’s annoying to most but with ocd can be very anxiety inducing. Especially if they act confident when they say it.

Please do not take anything teenage boys or even young adult men say seriously lol. They thrive on making people feel bad.

What that teenager said to you was inappropriate and unnecessary. He probably said those things to feel included into the conversation but went at it in a stupid way. I think having love for your nieces is such an amazing quality and don't let anyone take that from you or them. <3
