I also am in the South . Currently dealing with a bed bug infestation. Significant issue is ongoing with attempting full resolution with exterminator and personal remedies and clean up . At some point even with my OCD & GAD I had to make my peace with these dreadful pests even though they are ruining my property and literally sucking the blood š©ø out of me . Good luck do what you can and then do your best to make your personal peace with the spider situation.

@777Q Thanks for this! I have OCD GAD and Depression been through therapy and relapsed this summer did kinda well for years. Over cockroaches. I saw one German and Iām in the south coastal area where āwater bugsā bigger cockroaches and there babies reside. Iāve done ok but my mind got stuck on the German cockroach. My house is treated every quarter and more if needed my exterminator said seeing one alive and one dead and no more Iām ok not infested. Havenāt seen more but my mind there is an infestation no matter what and Iām in therapy again and I learned some new tools Oneā¦ focus on what is not what if Two.. I am safe Three.. resist the compulsion for me itās googling and reassurance seeking and let yourself feel this anxiety it will go away Youāre not alone! You will get through this!
