Hello there. This very much sounds like OCD to me. Delusions are a fixed belief, not an obsessive fear. In fact, delusional people typically are not necessarily scared of the delusion itself but actually believe their delusion as fact and get scared of this. It sounds like you have a fear rather than a belief. Many people with OCD experience intrusive thoughts and doubts that feel very real and distressing, but the ability to question and doubt them is a sign of OCD rather than psychosis. @guts hey op, i’m so sorry. your therapist seems horrid, esp to not believe a client. i’d say you shld switch to a different therapist because this is NOT how therapists act.
