Was taking a pic of something in my local chemist ( due to OCD? and as I was taking the pic, a small girl lept into the photo and now im worried incase her dad thought i was taking a picture of her. I even have a what if the dad said something to me and I cant remember.
That sucks and I understand your worry. I doubt the parent said anything to you or even cared. Many parents of young children have way more on their minds. He probably didn't even notice you. And even if he did, and was angry about it, that would have been on him not you.
I know OCD can be very hard to deal with, but this post is seeking reassurance, which only makes things worse. I was giving my child a bath. I picked her up out the tub because shes small. But the momentum of picking her up she swang a little toward my body and ocd said did i hip thrust kr do anything wrong. I did a compulsion saying NO repeatedly. And i put her back down and beforehand i didnt have any ill intent just to help her get out because shes a toddler. I had other intrusive thoughts but tbats not my intent i was just trying to be a good dad
Kinda spiraling. In one of my classes there was a girl that was a senior and I was a junior. We got put in a table group of 4 next to eachother for a unit with my friend also there and some girl that I knew from orchestra. I’m now scared if I was too close to her like physically. I never touched her obviously bc that’s weird. I think I was talking to my now gf at the time or maybe even dating her I’m not sure. There was this time we had to play quiziz on our Chromebooks and we got randomly selected in a group together with me her and one of my other guy friends. I’m worried that what if we were too close physically, what if my arm was touching hers or something. I know that my friend Jack was in the middle so he needed to see the screen and I also wouldn’t have went super close to her. I’m writing this bc I’m just super worried. I never talked to her outside of that class and really outside of that unit when everyone moved tables again. Whenever our teacher did demonstrations I feel like I looked at her too much and now I’m scared, even though I just look around but I feel like my eyes went to her. I would never cheat on my gf so this whole situation is bothering me. I also one time just curiously checked if she followed me on insta and we didn’t have eachother added and I saw her bf on her profile and I was like “aww that’s cute”. What if I was acting on attraction in the classroom, I’m scared
So I don’t know if this is real event ocd or false memory ocd or maybe it can be both but when I was in one of my worst ocd episodes I had to record every conversation i interacted with because I would think I’m saying my thoughts out loud. So after work me and my mom went to a family’s birthday party and on the way there I was already scared that when they would open the door that i would say something inappropriate so I put my phone in my purse to make sure I didn’t. I ended up doing that getting past them but I can’t remember if I turned off my phone I feel and know that I did but not remembering every specific detail makes me think that evedybody there knows I’m recording people and that ima weirdo. I hate that I even had the ocd theme, I hate that I needed to record conversations to make myself feel better because now I look like a weirdo that’s taking videos without consent.
