sorry been posting so much!! I feel like fear is holding me back. And I probably do just think I know him in my head because I don’t even feel him in general and think the opposite what scripture says even tho I don’t want to I know he’s loving obviously but never feel if and am always afraid to be condemned
I struggle with this. It seems like nothing about God can be brought up without my thoughts immediately being negative. I often feel as though I don’t believe even though I do. I always worry I’m not really saved, as though I missed something. I see other Christians who seem so Spirit filled and I feel like I’m not. We’ll get through this! Praying for you!
Im so sorry dear. I really do think you should get off Instagram or social media because a lot of these influencers are just saying whatever on here and probably not even doing half the things they are telling other people to do.
@julianofnorwich AGREED. Getting off social media clears up so much space for my relationships, including Jesus. So many opinions and statements. Holy Spirit gives us discernment, but with the overthinking it’s not healthy - for me at least. I find a clear mind when I’m in the Word for myself and seeking direct scripture to tell me who God is and how He sees me!
My problem is feeling like I am half surrendering to Jesus even tho I don’t want to be one foot in and one foot out and I do know all the truths but it’s hard
So I understand that fear may hold you back but you have to give him a chance and talk to him weather its on the phone or face to face because otherwise you will never have a tru connection with him and you will keep pondering about what he is really like and also not want to be with each other because of not having a tru connection. So you have to grow up grow some balls and talk to him if not dump his ass and move on.
