I was able to listen to music without having an anxiety attack!

Achieved a big goal and travelled internationally by plane. 10 hr transatlantic flight and a connection. Wouldn’t have thought I could do that half a year ago.

I was able to finish a big project by thinking about what actually had to be done instead of what my perfectionism wanted.

Really really really just want to sit in my car and ruminate and fact check my relationship but hyping myself up to lift weights 🧎🏻‍♀️

I attended an appointment with my school’s disability office today and learned about a lot of great resources on campus!

Amped up my ERP to something higher on my tier list. It's hard and it's raised my anxiety a bit but I'm doing it

Had a productive conversation with my girlfriend earlier about an issue I had been harboring

I have had covid this week & been down with sickness & even though I have definitely struggled with OCD...it could have been so much worse!!! I am also really grateful for my therapist. I am grateful that my husband and I git covid at same time, so I haven't been alone. I am grateful for the fall colors.

I celebrated my birthday without any anxiety or fear about the idea of dying on my birthday.

I was able to have a real moment with my boyfriend in love with out intrusive thoughts !!

I have contamination OCD and use gloves when I put my pants on. My glove got snagged on the zipper and ripped. I managed to keep going about my day, hop in the car, and go to work. Some anxiety, but I survived.

I had a serious conversation with a friend and was able to not tear myself apart with doubts and rumination beforehand and it went well :)

And I successfully finished trauma therapy for my PTSD

I went a full day without picking my hair!

My weekly win was getting outside and talking with my neighbors :)

Finally got on anti psychotics Reached out to support And restarting therapy soon :)

I didn't bring a stuffie to school! My teacher and my friends were so proud of me!

I'm intentionally doing my exposures, and they're going well! Also, I'm feeling a lot better. So much less anxiety than when I first started therapy!

I was able to go on with my day despite the thoughts and that tightness in your chest.

Let go of my intrusive thought of the potential for bad things to happen and have been able to enjoy my day

I made it through the work week and I’ll make it through today. I’ve eaten two meals in the past two days.

I scored a job and my first day is Monday! It's been about a year since my previous job so I'm proud of myself for getting another one.

After like 3 weeks of all this wood piled in my apartment I finally got my new bed frame put together my cat to the vet and the maintenance man found a foul odor and said they can fix it now and I made it through another week of work full time with no outbursts. And! I got all my laundry hung up!

I meditated for the first time in a while, for almost 20 minutes!

I was able to fill out legal forms for my new job without getting triggered!

I feel like I have been learning a lot about myself and my OCD this week

I’m very thankful for my therapist and all that she has helped me with! I was able to score a 1 on my DOCS this week!! So thankful for everything everyone has done to help me and encourage me! Praise the lord!n

Driving has been more manageable! Using the prevention tips is as if you are speaking straight to the OCD. Demanding peace.

i accepted uncertainty with the future of my relationship - had the thought, said “yeah, that’s scary. thanks brain!” and went on about my day

I started off an important and confrontational conversation by sharing my emotions and being empathetic toward the situation. I managed to not give in to feelings of guilt or shame for asking what I wanted.

Was able to recognize that ERP will be more effective for me than I thought, and I have the courage to face a really big trigger for me (public transit) this weekend.

I finished a zero draft for a book I've been trying to write for a while, amd it actually works. Take that, Perfectionism!

I had a new/random OCD thought last night about my relationship right after my boyfriend left my house, and I thought “I don’t need to give this attention right now, this is OCD.” And then did my bedtime routine and went to sleep. I thought about it once today but it hasn’t been sticky!

I did my homework and had a great therapy session - in the maintenance phase!

I was able to wear my favorite shirt to a hangout without letting OCD stop me :)

I was able to complete my delivery job today with zero panic attacks!

I attended my first NOCD session even though I felt very resistant to it beforehand.

I am getting better at leaving work issues at work and going out with my partner

I started a load of laundry today (it had gotten so bad that I bought more underwear instead of washing what I already had). Now I just need to make sure I move it to the dryer

There were a couple moments I was able to move on with what I was doing and not ruminate. It prevents unnecessary pressure and makes tasks not take as long.

I was able to practice an exposure fear in therapy that has really been sitting with me. It made it different even just to write and speak it out loud.

Was able to simply be in my home and clean and do chores without going into a panicked mental struggle

I was able to talk to a girl today even if it was short

i was home alone for a long stretch of time every day this week

I was able to take the train without a panic attack!

I was able to continue cutting vegetables after an intrusive thought that made me want to stop

Studied for a test yesterday and can get through the day without being on the brink of a panic attack basically constantly. 2 years ago that was not the case and I’m so grateful!

I was able to see my ex and continue on with my day and conquer the day!

I haven’t picked my face in a whole day!

I’m feeling excited about going on a road trip!! Usually I feel dreadfully anxious.

I am much calmer and have been sleeping better!! On my way and done w ocd bye Felicia, don’t let the door hit you you know where!!

I was able to resist doing compulsions for 20 minutes

I finished a certification in wellness. And then signed up for a health coach certification. Now I've gotta get moving:)

I cut my hair and went blonde! HUGE change but I handled it!

Not losing my temper

I just got diagnosed yesterday and got a referral to NOCD to start ERP therapy. It's honestly such a relief to finally understand myself, and I'm excited to start this journey!

I gave myself grace and communicated well when i ran late

I am getting better at my sleep/wind down routine and doing meditation! I also drove myself to different places that I haven't in a while, by myself! They're very short drives but it was a huge deal for me!

I had a session with my therapist that really helped show me my progress

I randomly got a flood of romantic feelings back for my fiance after feeling numb for some time

I started working a new position at my job, which I was pretty stressed out about, but it actually went well! Nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be lol

I did reach out to a friend I haven’t spoken to in awhile!

I made it until Thursday to totally freak out from stress. So tiny win I guess.

My director said I’m doing an awesome job and to quit not taking breaks throughout the day. 🌞

It was a rough week, but I didn’t give in every time the contamination thoughts came. That’s progress.

I went to the gym for the first time after a long break. OCD & perfectionism wanted me to push really hard, past my limits. I was able to resist that self-talk and resist the pressure to exercise 'perfectly'! All that matters is showing up 😊

I told someone how I was struggling and I’m going to the doctor in 2 days.

I was able to get through my workday, even though my stomach was hurting, and I took breaks and while it was still bothering me until this very moment, I’m still able to accept that my routine is the change in order to feel better

I was able to put sunscreen on my arms and go about my day with less anxiety than normal about the sunscreen texture and about it rubbing off on things and making them “dirty”

I used the app to interrupt the rumination last night. Even if it helped for a few minutes I still did it!

I was able to do some exposures by myself and actually enjoy a show that had my triggers in it! It was hard and definitely not perfect -- I still feel a bit of anxiety watching it -- but I definitely feel much more empowered to do things without giving OCD much thought!

I was super honest with someone who had hurt me deeply. And I stood up for myself

I just woke up a few minutes ago and I felt my bp go up and heart rate but instead of directly checking my blood pressure or running to my parents I’m asking for help I sat with the uncomfortable feeling for 5 minutes and wow that was uneasy but I noticed it went away!! Guys I’m so happy! Yes I checked it but it wasn’t bad! Little by little I’m noticing that it can get to me but I can do this we all can!!

I got my wisdom teeth taken out and couldn’t open something with my hands so I was going to use my teeth to open it then I realized it wasn’t the best idea and I thought that if I didn’t open it with my teeth I was going to miss out or opportunities and then I took a deep breath and tried again with my hands and got it open!
