I have Crohn's Disease. What exactly is this post asking?

Well, how did you found out you have Chohn's disease? And how did it started? My doctor said that Crohn's disease can lead to a vitamine b12 definiency. And I maybe have a vitamine b12 definiency, and my bowel system sometimes is irritated or something like that.

I was born with it and was always in constant pain. It wasn't until I was 7 that the diagnostic process started. I was constantly vomiting blood and in such severe pain I was unable to move. It was not a simple vitamin deficiency or bowel irritation, I can say that. Most people have issues like that and it's not indicative of a severe condition. I don't want to give you any reassurance, though. I'm not a doctor so I can't diagnose.

@zomboney Thanks for your response. Bro, I'm very sorry you have to go through this.. I searched it up on the internet and it sounds horrible. Thanks for the information about this disease, it calmed me a bit down. One question; I thought stress and/or anxiety played a roll in having this disease? I know it's genetic, but how can you be diagnosed at the age of 7? Mad respect for you man.. ?

Most often the symptoms you're describing are the physical effects of anxiety, though. Vitamin deficiencies are found in most of the population, especially vitamin B12. But don't focus on this, work on accepting and habituating to your "worst case scenario", and you'll find a lot of the symptoms you're having will decrease. Your real problem is not your fear coming true, but your fixation on it. CBT and ERT are great for learning to live with obsessive thoughts, so I'd recommend you pursue that.

@maxt32 It is genetic. You cannot develop Crohn's from stress. Thank you, it's been a tough road and I'm currently on chemotherapy for it, but I am doing well, living a happy life, and in remission.

@maxt32 To clarify, stress can make Crohn's symptoms worsen (your nervous system directly affects the immune system, if the body is stressed the faulty immune system will become more aggressive in its attacks trying to "save" the body from the perceived threat, which is... the body's own cells), but it doesn't cause them. So you have nothing to worry about there.

@zomboney I'm very happy to hear you're in remission! I hope it all works out and that you'll have a great life without this disease. I'm going to try to implement your advice, although it'll very hard. I know you're right, but the difference between reality and the OCD thoughts are so little.. Thanks again for your advice and good luck with your journey!

I used to be so worried too... i really understand your feeling! I used to be scared to go out because it hurted soooo much and i wa so afraid. I was scared that it was my appendix or even that i was in labor ? i even couldnt walk sometimes.... after a few weeks we decided to go to the hospital for multiple scans...but nothing showed up ... so which also meant no solution. Now 2 or 3 years later i am still struggeling with IBS but i can say it gets better in periods... sometimes it like dissapears for 3 months even when my OCD is really bad and my stress level is really high... and sometimes even when i am super relaxed it shows up again... now i can say that it (for me) isnt related to food... i can eat fries and chocolate cake and have no reaction but i can eat a carrot and have pain all evening...
