Light in this world 🤍
The past week or so has been a lot. The holidays can be busy, and stressful, and pack finals in and OCD flares. But today, I was standing outside of Trader Joe’s, waiting for my friends to come out. One friend came over and we began talking. A moment or two later, a little girl came over to me. She was holding a beautiful bouquet of pink roses. She came over and said “my mom and I hope you have a merry Christmas”. I looked at her mom making sure this was okay, as the little girl handed me the flowers, and she smiled at me. I said “ooh my goodness, you are so sweet, thank you so much.” I was shocked. This sweet little girl gave me flowers. This mother and daughter reminded me that there is so much good in this world. They don’t know my stress, yet they took time to reach out to a stranger. There is so much good and light in this world, we just have to choose to see it. Have a wonderful Holiday Season, and always remember to look for the good🤍
