I feel like I am the support system, for everyone. It's a big part of the problem .
@surfergirl59 I’ve been there! I used to (and still sometimes do) have a really hard time asking for help. The thing to remember is that strength is knowing when, who, and how to ask for help and that needing help certainly does not make you weak.
I've been there too! I'm still processing how to not be that person. It hurts but rewards

My mom, my IOP group, and everyone praying for me. Even when ocd tries to make me feel isolated I know I have people doing the most for me

I’m extremely lucky to have such a good support system. My beautiful wife Basil who’s supported me through all my ups and downs for 13 years, my best friend and soulmate Rowan, my parents (especially my dad who also has OCD) with all their wisdom, and my dear friends Bee and Carson who’ve stuck by me since college (especially Bee who also has OCD and is doing ERP too). I can feel so alone sometimes, which is OCD’s biggest lie to me. I appreciate all my people because they support and love me in their own ways, and they know the real me underneath the OCD. They’re patient and loving and unconditional in their support and I’m beyond grateful to them all.

My husband, parents, and my sister are my biggest supporters. My cats Bruno and Barney are also there for me, Bruno is essentially my emotional support animal.
When I read the comments, it always seems like every version of OCD is out there BUT mine! Am I the ONLY one who struggles do badly on a daily basis with " germ/ contamination " OCD? It rules my life but ive made a tiny bit if ofcprigree with erp but still so so hard!
@Anonymous I only have a little of contamination ocd but I still understand how hard it is for you. Keep fighting ocd!
