Is it wrong to talk to AI about obsessive thoughts
Sometimes when an idea or anger over an idea comes to me, I quickly unload this by presenting all of this to artificial intelligence. Is this reassurance?

Yes, it does count as reassurance. And please be careful with AI it can be very dangerous. I would recommend doing research about the AI chats stuff.
What's this AI conversation about? Is it a worrying topic? Anyway... I've reached a point where I talk to it about everything since I can't talk freely to people and I don't have a therapist.
It’s worrying because it won’t truly help you, often gives bad or wrong information, and you are using it as a compulsion.
It is true. I used it as a compulsion, or a tool tell me "you are not a bad person"
Reassurance or not, it’s definitely a compulsion. You can tell because you have the urgent need to do it. Because you’re using it as a compulsion, that means you need to stop. If you’d like to talk to AI about how you’re feeling because you feel alone, how about scheduling a time once a week. And limit it. Give yourself 10 min to discuss your week and how it made you feel. Stop when the time is up. Be very strict on that part. When talking, focus more on how you’re doing generally, not specific intrusions you had that you are trying to figure out still.
Wow. I had no idea it was related to my obsessive thoughts... I thought talking to him was like having a therapy session with a therapist.
@Haithammomtaz Therapists aren’t available at every moment to help you through every intrusive thought. They’re there at designated times and for designated durations. It’s definitely compulsive if you’re using it urgently for every intrusive thought. And I’d be surprised if it wasn’t helping you perform more compulsions (like giving reassurance, conducting repetitive internet research, analyzing things with you over and over, etc)
That would depend on what you’re saying and what you’re trying to get out of it I’ve gone to it for many topics. If I were using it for an ovd thought I’d ensure you train it to understand you have ocd and ask it for all responses to avoid reassurance and enhance uncertainly but stay factual and grounded. It takes a lot of time to work ai into a useable tool so if you’re going that path learn about prompts and rules roles and how to force it into corners. It can be ok to unloaded and discharge energy. Just be careful about framing it correctly and give it the rules about your condition and what to avoid doing (simply reassuring you) I use AI for fact checking which then I can apply to an intrusive thought. That allows me to embrace a more factual certainly than my thought and then I can contact check that. To me that’s giving me assurance and allowing me to see when my ocd thoughts are actually so far removed from reality. Then I can let go of the thought and even attempt to close that loop off forever. You have to be courageous and you have to be disciplined You have a goal - that’s to beat the disorder then hold the view it’s a bully and a liar then you can begin to break down its foul hold
I just wanted someone who talking with him without fear from judgment
