what if i faked my ocd symptoms?
what if it was only anxiety and silly habits? or what if i was in denial the whole time and repressing and that’s my cover up?

I have had the same thought when I first was diagnosed. This is your brain trying to find an answer because it’s never satisfied to 100%, the uncertainty. My therapist has reminded me that life truly isn’t 100% about anything really. You might have anxiety or OCD but you have to just keep living your life either way. So just do what you think it best and it will be ok. I know it’s hard. I just say- well maybe it is, maybes it’s not, there’s no way to know for certain so I’m going to continue as best I can

I’m early on in my treatment, so I’m not sure I’m the best for information on this. It looks like there was another comment covering some videos you can watch. You can dooooo thiiissss! I’m learning being open to the change and accepting that the unknowable is always there is really freakin hard; but, I’m also learning it’s literally part of the process to slowly feeling better and more grounded.
