How do I read the Bible in depth? I feel like I don’t know how to have deep understanding and idk if it’s cuz I don’t spend enough time with Him or I’m not understanding but some people just know and can feel God so close to them then I worry I don’t know enough and I know there’s a lot of deep spiritual stuff that’s happening in the Bible and the Bible should be our first source but all the world stage things and everything has a deeper meaning but then in the Bible idk how to correlate and you would think that it would be easier to if u are awake and have ocd. Does anyone else struggle with this?

1. Be in community. Find a good church that preaches the bible, not feel good messages that sound like a self help book. Get involved, find people you like and admire who are willing to help you. 2. My bible study plan is based almost exclusively on Jen Wilken’s Women of the Word. Highly recommend, I’ve read it 3 times over the last 6 years.

Omg I’m dealing with this too ! I was online and I came across these preachers who were saying all of these things like “you’re being lied to by the churches”, “Jesus is a consciousness he’s not a human”, “heaven and hell aren’t destinations they’re a state of mind”, “people are misinterpreting the Bible and the way Jesus speaks”, “he doesn’t care what you do you can make as many mistakes as you want he just wants you to follow him “ etc … And it spiked me bad today ! I was feeling like I had no idea what to believe, I got so confused, I don’t know if I was reading the Bible right or following him the right way, then it would bleed into other themes that I’ve been experiencing. My brain was going back and forth trying to figure out who Jesus is and how he wants me to live, what’s real, what’s true etc …

@Anonymous 25# Yeah then I do a deep dive of all these influencers and deep evangelists and it feels so heavy and true then I get afraid tho and I feel Jesus is coming soon I really do but then I am scared I’m not actually made righteous and I’m scared to stand before God. Especially when I’m alone I just spiral but then when I’m doing activities and talking to people it’s like I’m distracting myself from real life? But then we also aren’t meant to just doom scroll. And that I’m not as dedicated to Jesus as people who have a deep connection with him and love to preach the word and I never do like I wonder what it feels like
