Weekly Wins time ⏰

After some tough weeks and a tough cancer diagnosis from my father, this week has been rewarding in the fact that I’ve noticed my intrusive thoughts, labeling them as such and keep moving throughout the day. Spent my early mornings with a cup of coffee and reading the bible, specifically the book of Samuel and David’s courageous battles!

I was able to timeblock various tasks successfully without my intrusive thoughts, checking and compulsions bothering me!

Still off my vape. I think staying off nicotine in general will help my ocd & other anxiety conditions 👌

I made it to another birthday 🎉

I've been writing a play partially inspired by my OCD journey and I've gotten a good number of scenes/monologues written.

I was diagnosed earlier this month, so this process is still in the beginning stages for me. However, I am really proud of these wins as it means I am starting to take care of myself. This week's wins: -showing up to all of my therapy sessions -being vulnerable and honest -doing my homework -acknowledging that this is not going to be a quick process, but it will be worth it

Last time I had to stay home alone I didn’t leave my bed for 5 days and this time I have gotten up at 5am and doing chores all day and talking in the phone to my friends so that’s a huge win!!

Today marks six weeks since I was diagnosed. In the DOCS evaluation I did earlier this week (my third evaluation), my numbers dropped below that of clinical OCD.

I chose to be kind to myself. 🌷

I faced and defeated some ocd final boss shit this week, and graduated.

I have been able to get closer to healing from my PTSD

I have had ocd for a while and it’s been very manageable. most of the time I don’t even notice it over the last two months my theme changed to fear of psychosis. it has been super bothersome and the sense of urgency and fear has been overwhelming. the intrusive thoughts were horrible. but my wins this week is that I stopped using my therapist as reassurance, I noticed my the thoughts and disengaged quickly, did ERP on my own & have forced myself to move through the fear instead of being paralyzed by it. I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

I started my first therapy session for my OCD today. I didn’t cry during the appointment, but I did as soon as I got off. Just wanting to be gentle with myself going into the weekend and remembering I can do hard things!

Being able to stop or at least recognize some compulsions and having grace for myself after performing compulsions I haven’t had in a while

Instead of reacting defensively when critical/harmful feedback was thrown my way at work, I let it sit in silence and took a beat. Stayed calm.

This past week has been super challenging; can’t get off the couch, just want to sleep, no energy, no motivation to work-type challenging. Today I left my house for the first time in seven day 🎉

Not drinking at all this week! I stopped drinking completely in Jan 2025, but started drinking every now and then by October 2025, and it’s just best for me (and probably everyone) to stay away from the stuff. It always makes my symptoms worse

I chose to give myself the compassion that I needed!

This weekend, I was able to dismiss my intrusive thoughts and realize they don’t mean something about me. Right now, I feel out of control concerning negative feelings from OCD, but this weekend gave me good insight about OCD feelings and that I can get better!

41% reduction in symptoms since I started treatment a month ago. My brain no longer feels like it’s being hijacked

I was able to book an appointment with an ocd therapist so I can hopefully get diagnosed with ocd and get treatment for my intrusive thoughts

Pet the neighbors cat without any intrusive thoughts about wanting to harm it

I am better than ever…tough week as far as relationships, but it has helped me gain insights into how I respond to things and what to watch out for. I am learning more and more how to handle thoughts and what not to do! 💗 I wish everyone well

I finally accepted uncertainty and was able to recognize that thoughts and feelings are not facts they just exist and we can exist with them without them meaning anything

I was able to sit on a section of my couch that I deemed dirty and didn’t have much anxiety! Really needed that win as my ocd has spiked lately

There have been many moments this week where normally I would have been anxious but lately my thought went through one end of my head and out the other. Remember everyone to just breathe it really does help and always have someone to talk to no matter who it is.

I was able to take a deep breathe, notice my mind spinning, and then take action on what I value

I was in labor 50 hrs before I had to get a C section. Nothing went ad plan during the birthing. My baby even ended up in the nicu. I'm tired and still struggle with intrusive thoughts but my son is here and I love him so that's a win

I was able to sit with the discomfort and anxiety from my Real Event OCD and be at peace with the negative feelings instead of trying to do something about them. It gave me so much confidence that I am getting better.
