Sometimes our thoughts reflect who we are, but I don’t think they always do. I think sometimes they’re just a product of what we’re exposed to or a mental illness.

I’m sorry you’re struggling with this. I understand how this would be hard for you. It’s good to be sorry when you do something wrong, but you don’t have to let these things ruin your relationships. I believe you should be with these people. I also believe that when the thoughts you think aren’t OCD come you should try to change your thinking by thinking about something good or focusing more on what you’re currently doing. I know you said they keep coming, but I believe that’s what you should do. When you feel weak, remember that God gives you strength. Keep seeking Him. He longs for a relationship with us and He wants to help us become a better person.

There’s skyscrapers everywhere in NYC. I was walking down Times Square trying to take pictures of the ones next to me. I was having a hard time getting the whole thing in the picture because it was so tall. You should look up the Empire State Building if you’ve never seen it. I’ve been to the 86th floor.

I understand I don’t know them all but what you’ve told me about is normal and they really don’t mean anything bad about you. It’s normal to be happy you’re not the one that’s sick and it’s normal to doubt and worry that that means you want the other person to be sick. But it doesn’t mean you wish they were sick.
