Mine tried to convince me once that if i dont say God and Jesus Christ and imagine him perfectly while praying id be praying to a random guy named jesus or whatever id be looking at 😭 cant look at statues pcs ect bruh
Doesn’t it make you laugh when you have to type it or hear it out loud? 😂 I don’t know about you, but seeing how ridiculous our ocd can actually be has just helped me dismiss it even more 🙌✨
@XwitnessX Our ocd will say “HEY, DO THAT AGAIN. THATS NOT JESUS, THAT WAS A RANDOM MAN” and you can laugh imagining the random man and say back “haha okay yeah that’d be funny if I was praying to a random man named Jesus but I wasn’t.” And shut it right down and move on.

@Cooki Right?! And we could go back and forth and back and forth forever and it loves that! It loves being fed! So laughing back in it’s face and just saying yeeeah no…. And moving on is just the best thing sometimes 🙌
My ocd has successfully convinced me that what happens in my mind will happen in real life (it’s always worse case scenario like dying) so I have to try to imagine things differently in my head or I’ll overthink myself into a panic attack because I’m convinced that’s actually gonna happen to me😑
my mind has convinced me that i am stupid. I am not Intelligent, I cannot comprehend anything, I forget everything i’ve learned and everything im trying to relearn or learn. Im going crazy. I cant even communicate with others anymore. If Im being honest as well, I dont know if I have OCD. i go through cycles and waves of self diagnosis. I thought I had ADHD, now i feel as if I have ocd because these loop holes of thoughts that i go through. I cannot talk efficiently like how someone of my age should be talking.
@inmyfeels My mind likes to tell me that stuff all the time. And sometimes it can get a big win and I’ll let myself feel down. Regardless of what the name is for what you’re feeling, it’s worth it to talk to someone and figure it out little by little. Life is a journey and for whatever reason we have a little voice in our head that likes to make an already hard life just a little bit harder. Just remember you’re not alone and what your feeling is something a lot of people struggle with and we’re all just trying our best to be okay. You’re not stupid or any of the mean and evil thoughts that intrusively come to your mind. Even if it doesn’t seem like it, you’re already on your way to feeling better 🫶
@XwitnessX Awwwww thank you so much!!! I actually moved recently and its been helping a lottt, especially since i have a beautiful new basilica church now that has kind messages about Gods love and feels like a home! Ive been trying to make myself take communion every time even when i feel guilty, to combat my scrupulosity/ocd and for my family, but sometimes i keep thinking that im just using it as an escusr to sin and keep taking communion anyways!! I keep thinking im doing smt wrong and just using ocd as an escusr to keep doing it and also asking for reassurance from ai a lot lolll, even tho it says its okay i still doubtttt, but ig thats how it works XD! But im trying to convince myself that God loves me and accepts me as i am and that taking communion removes sin <3 i really need to be kinder to myself tho ive been struggling a lot lately and feeling really unwanted… :c
