Hi there. How are you doing? I hope good. I’m feeling extremely distressed about my real event themes and I’d really appreciate it if somebody could chat about it. Also, feel free to use this post as a place to vent if you need to ^^
I deal with this too and it’s incredibly frustrating
@Penguin23 Right. I know a lot of us go through this, but I don’t know exactly why my mind tries to convince me that what I’ve done is way worse than what anybody else has and it’s making me feel so distressed all the time. I always feel like I don’t deserve love or affection. I feel disgusting and I regret every single move. Do you also feel like this? :(
@anonymous_purple💜 I’m literally feeling like this right now!!! I also feel like I don’t deserve love or affection. I just wish that I could know for sure if things I do, say, and think are normal and if everyone else is like that too.
@Penguin23 It seems that we struggle with very similar themes. You don’t need to elaborate if you don’t want to, but in my case these real event themes are also related to other people which know of them, so I’m always scared it’ll be brought up to me in a future. It’s so exhausting to constantly live like this, I truly need some support at times :(
@anonymous_purple💜 My real events also involve other people most of the time. I’m mostly scared that I’ve hurt them in some way. Also, the people involved are my loved ones or anyone I care about so it makes being around them difficult sometimes. I just feel so guilty all the time.
@Penguin23 I also have it mixed with harm OCD most of the time. I’m sorry to read that you’re going through this, but at the same time I know that I’m not alone and I no longer feel like a freak. Wish that the app had a message function, can’t really afford support groups right now 😅
@anonymous_purple💜 I definitely don’t feel as alone right now as well, and yeah I wish the support groups on here could be for everyone and not just for the people who are working with therapists.
