Ruminating abt messing up at volunteering
I volunteer at a shelter and I was going to a 6 hour training to get to the next level to be moee hands on and apparently I didnt do well enough for me to go to the next level. I asked the people helping me repeatedly if I did anything wrong and they just said I needed more time (usually it takes abt 8 hours of volunteering to get up to next level training, they said I needed 30hr) i kept asking if I did anything wrong and they kept giving me that answer. I struggled a bit w figuring out the leashes they use and holding it right and such and that might be as to why and im overall an anxious person(though i wasnt really scared of the animals) ,she gave me a small chihuahua to practice w and it went ok but i did forget how to hold it properly once or twice (chihuahua was fine and chill luckily) i do have dogs and experience w them but i dont need to put their leash on thru the door or wnything and they had clip on leashes (you had to loop these over the dogs heads) so i wasnt used to it . I also mightve made a bad impression when I first met the person in charge of my volunteering shift and wore shorts so had to go back (long pants required) and also during this training I went to the café the rescue had for a drink and a bagel bc I hadnt eaten and didnt have time to eat ir and mightvr come back late bc of it. I asked a bazillion times if I did anything wrong or how to do better and they didnt really answer so idk if it was anything in specfici I did or just overall sucking. Idk. I feel really bad and guilty and i cant stop overthinking what could've made me mess up
