Daily inspirational quote and an apology

Earlier I made a post trying to be respectful and trying to commemorate the lives lost 25 years ago today. I was trying to get across the point that I am eternally grateful for the people serving my country and am mourning the thousands of lives lost 25 years ago. I was saying how grateful I am for my religious freedom and I do admit i may have sounded like I was being snobby about my religion but I was not trying to be rude or make anyone mad. I did clearly anger someone though. After I came home from school the first thing I saw once I came and sat down was “You should be ashamed of yourself” I deleted the post after reading insult after insult to me and the words that I meant to be kind. The person that I will leave anonymous was saying that I was using the pain of others to my own advantage. I had not read over the text before I posted it so maybe it did come off that way but I was just trying to be kind. To whomever this was, if you see this, I am sorry, I did not realize the message that my words were conveying. I am sorry that I wasn’t more aware of what I was putting out and how it might make others feel. If you do read this, please forgive me. And if you are not this person and you are the person who stood up for me, thank you. And if you are neither of those people, hello, sorry for the dump. Don't worry, my friend!!!! I think it's terrible when people attack other people online. You are trying to do something good, and then you get hurt in return. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Please don't let it get you down. You are welcome to express yourself. If other people attack you, that's their problem. You weren't trying to hurt anyone. But you did get hurt in return. I'm so sorry. Tomorrow is a new day. You are free to be yourself! If other people don't like it, they don't need to make you feel bad. Give yourself a hug. You deserve it!!! 😀😀😃💙😀

@Tea and Honey Thank you, this really means a lot. Yesterday evening I was a mess, I try so hard to make people happy and when I don’t I feel so ashamed of myself. This is a problem sometimes and I am trying to work it out.

@💜Cinderella💜 You have a good heart. Most people don't care so much about others. Remember to give yourself grace today. Don't forgot to do things for yourself, like eat a cookie, take a walk--whatever makes you happy. Self-care is actually quite important in the OCD journey. I used to think it was not important, but it's is!!!!!! I've learned it's quite important for your overall health. Remember, Jesus loves you more than you know!!!! You are important in this world!!!! And more valuable than you know!!

It’s good to recognize how you can improve on the posts you leave online, but don’t let this mistake get you down. People can be jerks, especially online, I haven’t seen your previous post, nor do I know where this person is coming from so I am not trying to judge anyone to any capacity. Don’t be so hard on yourself though, you didn’t know that post would do that and you had no intention of hurting anyone. All that you can do is live and learn from this situation. In the end it was only one post and that doesn’t define who you are.
