Living with uncertainty: AMA with Mackenzie Nordone
For years, Mackenzie Nordone’s life was ruled by fears and doubts that felt impossible to ignore: "Did I do that right? Is this safe? What if I'm wrong?" The uncertainty made her stomach drop, and her mind spiral. She’d drive herself to exhaustion trying to feel absolutely sure that nothing was wrong. Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy taught Mackenzie something life‑changing: you don’t have to solve every doubt to live a full, meaningful life. Now, the uncertainty that once felt unbearable is background noise. And as a NOCD Support Group Facilitator, Mackenzie uses her lived experience to support others who feel the way she once did. This Monday, September 28th, Mackenzie is hosting a live Ask Me Anything (AMA) here in the NOCD app to talk openly about her journey. You can ask her anything you’re wondering about living with uncertainty, OCD, treatment, and what her life looks like today. The full AMA conversation takes place in the comments below. Comment your questions, and Mackenzie will answer as many as she can on Monday, September 28th, at 9 AM PT / 11 AM CT / 12 PM ET. 👇
