What win are you taking into the weekend? Let's end the week on a high note!
What win are you taking into the weekend? Let's end the week on a high note!
I got my first job!
I've been getting really good grades of late, and I've found time to really grow my good habits, such as using the self esteem workbook consistently!
My birthday is on sunday!
@allyshort421 Happy early birthday!
Enjoying my moments even while anxious, going to work, keeping up with grades, spending quality time with my boyfriend without letting the ocd impulsively affect me 🤗
@mxratxm So proud of u!! My victory is a similar thing—not letting anxiety keep me from enjoying my life ☺️ also seeing it as an illness i can work around, rather than a supernatural indicator im not allowed to do something (lil deep, but a real win!)
I got through a 7 day working week ⭐️ 🎉
I started new medication and started working with my new OCD therapist on a plan.
@kmoo What medication ?
I started packing for a big move and going outside more 😊
I am learning to do the things that bring me joy even while I am feeling uncertain🌿💕🥰
Had my first successful therapy appointment 💛💛
I had a scary OCD spike and still decided to get in an elevator that took me 300ft up overlooking the city.. & I still keep doing scary things every day!
I put a book on my shelf even though it has bad memories attached to it!!! I told myself, it isn’t going to poison the other books.
@stuckstuckstuck That's great! There's a few books on my shelf rn that have "bad energy" and my OCD says that if I don't get rid of them I'm inviting the scary things in the books to happen to me. I might sell or donate them eventually but it won't be because my OCD says so!
I started studying and practicing Buddhism two weeks ago, became vegetarian and I’m enjoying it a lot. The first week I was getting caught up in trying to get it right learning the rules and stuff , but then I realized that the buddhas words are only meant to facilitate what is realized when you look within and breathe in and out
I’ve been doing a little better with not giving into my compulsions this week ! :)
I got my first job as a PTA after graduating college and started today
I had a really good day yesterday. I felt like myself
I’ve been able to fight off my intrusive thoughts 😍
Each week trying something new. This week cold plunge and red light sauna and signed up to volunteer for 2 hours Saturday at harvest festival showing people how to bundle herbs. Signed up for beginning conversational Spanish scholarship.
@jessahurley70 Way to go!
I got a raise!
I’ve been having bad OCD spikes all week, but today I didn’t google any symptoms !
I’ve been recognizing my OCD for what it is and not letting it take me over for the first time I can actually say oh that’s OCD and I don’t have to do what it wants. I can take a deep breath, sit calmly and let the feeling pass and not have to indulge in compulsions but I still sometimes do but I don’t have to and that’s a great accomplishment.
I completed my to do list!
I didn’t cry on the ride back to my parents for the first time in a while.
It’s been a tough few days. My therapist canceled on me short notice three times in a row. I guess I’m going to have to make a change.
I attended all my classes this week and went to training even when I didn’t want too
Feeling better after being very sick! Not all of the way better but better than before lol
I’ve been allowing myself to go with the flow more in general, rather than being so hard on myself.
I made good progress on my book
My weekly win is getting 100% on a test this morning! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I'm starting some new meds for my chronic illness. It's nice to have a little hope instead of just feeling stuck and not sure if things will ever get any better.
I finally managed to let myself feel some unwanted feelings. And even though I didn’t like it at all, I know it’s a step in the right direction.
@beeeeeeans Go beans!! :)
Had my first session and got a couple commissions this week
I’ve been seeing through my mental compulsions more this week and it’s freed up so much more time for me daily.
I put this distressing obsession on the back burner instead of viewing it like it needs urgent answers :)
I didn’t have an intrusive thought attack last night! Win!
I’ve been working on (and getting *slightly* better at) letting things go that I can’t control, especially if that is other people’s feelings. I can sense myself ruminating on my worth and if my relationships will suffer because I didn’t apologize or make something my fault. It’s one of the biggest struggles I have, but I’m trying to sit in the discomfort.
I got a raise at work!
School has started again so I can schedule an appointment with the counselor on campus and get closer to figuring out treatment!
became a conqueror after over a year of therapy 🥹
i got out of bed
Less reassurance questions.. Living in uncertainty
