Relationship spiral
Does anyone have advice for dealing with constant doubts about whether your partner is cheating? I keep getting stuck analyzing little things social media activity, interactions, changes in affection, or whether something he said adds up. I replay everything and try to figure out what it means, but I never feel settled. It’s exhausting, and I’m worried the questioning and frustration are hurting my relationship. I’m trying to resist checking my phone for clues or checking his phone. I don’t want to spend my time investigating him, but the urge to get certainty feels so strong. Sometimes I pull away or get irritated because I’m already upset about something I haven’t actually established happened. There have also been things that bothered me and boundaries I want respected, so I struggle with how to address real concerns without getting pulled into endless rumination. I’m looking for advice on handling the uncertainty and checking urges, rather than reassurance about whether he’s cheating. What helps you step out of this loop and be present in your own life?
