It feels impossible but it isn’t
The game that I understood was identifying, calling it by name, like I call it: Voldemort- making fun of how it tries to fool you. Because as we all know, it’s all in the head. I was lucky enough to find an amazing therapist and as I am also a quick learner, I am sure that I had severe levels of OCD affecting my relationship, personality and overall wellbeing. Here I was, going through the community thread and hoping to become a conqueror, in less than 2 months- which I never thought was possible. I CONQUERED it, and I am sure you can too! It doesn’t mean the fight is over, it creeps in, in different ways but you gotta know when to stop yourself, those thoughts and bring yourself back to what you are, for me- I am harry and OCD to me is Voldemort. Identify, Make fun of it (Maybe even with your loved ones), and move ahead into the mentality of being present in the moment. Thank you, to all for sharing your stories and NOCD team for getting me the help I needed so quickly. My life has changed for the better so genuinely can’t thank everyone enough!
