How are you doing today?
I didn’t sleep well last night. Maybe 5 hours. I’ve had worse sleep, that’s for sure. When I don’t sleep well, my ocd can definitely be louder than other days. How are you doing today?

I relate to that, so much. Sadly, I pulled an all nighter and still am not sleeping just yet. I wish it didn’t feel this way where I’m constantly overthinking. It’s a bit rest but, I believe it will get somewhat better… I hope. I hope you get better sleep :) I know how restless you can feel, especially on a few hours.
@star☁️💗 I appreciate your response and being open. Were you working on something to stay up all night? I’m so ready for bed tonight, but then I have to get up early tomorrow for work. So I’m then thinking what if I can’t sleep tonight? What if I can’t sleep and I’m super tired at work tomorrow and my ocd is triggered badly while at work. Etc etc.
@alan87 Well, I mostly love to do writing, so that kind of just keeps me up…. As well as OCD. I worry to about not getting enough rest, but I guess, for me, I just calculate 😭 like how many hours I get. I feel wherever, I’m somewhere specific, or being busy, ocd starts tormenting me. It feels isolating when nobody truly understands especially friends. :( it’s like a tiring cycle of worries that should not even be worries. I also hope to get sleep tonight and I hope you do too. :) . Also, I feel like I’m never able to go to bed early like how I used too… it’s all messed up. I go to therapy next week, so hopefully, they could help me 🥺 I pray for us and everyone else to get better ❤️🩹🫶
Today I've been doing well, but ended up watching some triggering videos related to my Real Events that definitely made me spiral... Thankfully my sleep hasn't been affected much, but I do have trouble getting out of bed in the morning thanks to rumination. I use medication to help me sleep, maybe you can try something similar?
@WideBit What medication do you take, if you don’t mind me asking. I used to take melatonin but I stopped for whatever reason. I as well have trouble getting out of bed, it’s kind of dreading. Honestly, I feel like stuff just be difficult and I wish it will get better soon. I wish you the best :). I know real events, can make someone spiral, I’ve had that too 🥺.
@star☁️💗 For sleep I use Risperidone. It was prescribed by my psychiatrist and I basically need it to sleep or else I stay awake the whole night lol. I'm sorry to hear you also struggle getting out of bed. I've been told that if you immediately occupy youself with a commitment after waking up, the dread goes away slowly. I personally haven't tried much but maybe doing something you enjoy every morning helps, like working out : )
@WideBit I appreciate your response! I have medication to help with anxiety which makes me sleepy, but I’m afraid to take it because I fear like I won’t be in control and I’ll be triggered into a thought-spiral. Part if it is me going to bed at a reasonable time too. I’m sorry to hear you watch some triggering videos. I hope you were able to recover quickly and your ocd is a bit more quiet now.
