I’m on 40 mg Prozac right now and it has helped a lot. Hasn’t cured me, obviously, but it makes therapy a lot easier to tolerate and my triggers don’t make me run away crying anymore lmao. Still have intrusive thoughts but it’s so much easier to push them away and not react to them. Still having compulsions but not near as bad as they were before. Also got rid of the depression I had been experiencing with my ocd. I haven’t felt this good in a very long time and can actually enjoy life now!

Hey everyone, I've been struggling with severe obsession over my blinking for more than a month now (&24/7), fearing I will never stop thinking about it. It came out of nowhere while I was walking (can OCD come like this without a reason ?). I'm starting to take Fluoxetine. I'm scared it won't help with the "hyperawerness". Does someone have a similar experience and can help me ?

So I’ve been off sertraline 50 mg for a couple months now after being on it for 3 years. I got off cuz I was getting bad side effects from it like gaining hella weight and low libido. My anxiety has been so bad so I’m considering trying Prozac since apparently the side effects are less. What’s your experience with it/does it help your anxiety from your intrusive thoughts? I mainly have just somatic ocd

I’m starting on Wednesday most likely. But I’m going away for Fourth of July this weekend and I wanna prepare myself for any side effects. Thank you. I hope my anxiety won’t be any more heightened :/ I won’t drink tho
