Your ocd is making you think things you don’t really think. And if you think of someone else during sex that is “prettier” it doesn’t mean you love your girlfriend any less. It would be different if you didn’t have this mental disease and were thinking these things during sex. However you do have it and it isn’t something you can control just like the thoughts you can’t control. Easier said than done but every time you’re making love to your girlfriend and you think of someone else don’t push it away, let the thought of someone else into your mind. It may not work right away, or maybe it will immediately, but eventually for sure the thoughts will stay in your mind for only a few seconds at a time. They will continue to come they probably will never stop completely but it will get to a point where they’re like feathers fluttering across your brain, you ignore them and they leave. Believe it or not that is the kind (where it leaves as quickly as it comes) of intrusive thoughts EVERYONE HAS. Ocd stops us from letting them go. We hold onto them because of worry that we are “bad”. You can discuss this with your girlfriend if you want to, depending on how open minded she is of understanding this sort of disease. However if you don’t think she’s going to understand don’t bring it up, because you’re not hiding anything, you’re doing nothing wrong. Maybe in time she will understand, if not maybe you should find someone else because your ocd will be a lifelong struggle and you need someone to support you throughout your life. Best of luck ?

Yeah if you can maybe try to discuss it with her? But I know that’s hard:( watch the ROCD video on intrusivethoughts.org if you haven’t (click the relationship section of the website) because it talks about this exact issue and how to deal with it. Good luck!!
