I would reccomend not seeking any advice from people’s personal experiences with medications because we aren’t doctors but also because all brains are unique and react differently. Just know that side effects like that are usually rare and you should voice any concerns with whomever prescribed you the medication. This is just my advice because when I would search symptoms I ended up making myself feel horrible. Hope it goes well for you.

Hey there! From what I've heard, Zoloft works for a lot of people. It helped my friend through some really dark times and he's MUCH better now. I didn't have too much luck with it, but I'd recommend not asking or looking up any info on it. It'll get into your head and you might think side effects into existence. I know I do that... if I go into something thinking that I'll have a terrible time, I'm already setting myself up for that kind of failure. Everybody reacts to meds differently so really go on your own path with it & if you feel uneasy about anything definitely talk to your doctor. Good luck!! :)

I’m thinking about starting sertraline (Zoloft) soon. What are your experiences on it? Is it worth it? I mainly wanna take it for my social anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Depression isn’t a problem I face. What dosages are you on? Are you happy with it?

I was recently prescribed Zoloft for my OCD and GAD. I was started on 12.5mg once a day. I’m really nervous and I’d love any good advice. I’m scared of gaining weight and becoming numb (what I’ve heard on tiktok). Is 12.5 or 25 mg enough for one to feel numb to emotions or crying?
