Do you know of any home/natural remedies that can help with mood swings related to PMS? For years there has been a noticeable difference in my stress levels once a month, and I don’t know how to manage or cope with them at this point. Any advice or tips are welcome! ?

How long have you had OCD and when did you first seek treatment? Outside of being an advocate, what things do you enjoy with your spare time?

I started having significant symptoms in elementary school, but wasn't diagnosed until after my sophomore year of high school. I had two inpatient hospitalizations and one partial jospufor self harm and suicidal ideation before going to residential treatment for my OCD. I've been in and out of outpatient therapy since then. It's been ten years since I left residential. I love reading and spending time outside m fantasy nobels are my jam

@NOCD Advocate - Katie I have a waxing and waning course. Don’t know if I’ve ever been sub clinical, but definitely I’ve had prolonged periods of real happiness and joy in my life.

Currently I am in graduate school for clinical social work. My specialization is children's mental health. In past jobs I've worked in residential treatment for youth with challenging behaviors (usually trauma related) and with developmental delays. I worked for two years outside Boston as a theraputic mentor. My field placements in grad school are in early childhood mental health, so kids under age 7 and their caregivers

If you could have any animal at all as a pet, and you had every possible means to take care of it, what would it be?
