If my feelings were a crayon, they'd be this blue/lavender shade. Maybe if name it melancholy pink (im so sorry, it just sounds dumb)

It sounds thoughtful. Makes me wonder if saying you feel different than you do is a pattern for you

@NOCD Advocate - Katie I guess it kind of is but can you describe your thought again so I can understand a bit better. Sorry if it came out as a bit rude :(

@chamomil& You named a lavender crayon "melancholy pink". If I looked just at the name, I'd guess it was pink, but it's actually lavender. It reminded me of the times I say I'm feeling one thing when I'm actually feeling something else

@NOCD Advocate - Katie Oh ok that's what you meant, I do that a lot actually (I've been doing it since I was a child). Even when I feel sad I just try convincing mysf I'm happy when I'm not. It's been a pattern since an long time. Also the colour would probably be a mix of teal/blue (melancholy) and lavender (pink). [It's a weird combination]

@chamomil& Oh, gotcha. I guess I think of lavender as a purple color, not a pink one

@NOCD Advocate - Katie Yep exactly why I named it melancholy pink cause I feel sad/blue but also happy at the same time. Envisioning that particular feelings in a shade of colour I just envisions teal and lavender mixed together

I can feel like this could symbolise something but I can't put my finger on it. Something that isn't even visible like our mental disorders

@chamomil& My obsessions starts from intrusive thoughts like what if i keep something valuable or sneeky in my pocket and my compulsions is that I have to do something to protect it from falling, usually with my non dominant hand(mostly) ,or any other ways to make sure everything will be ok.

@survivorr @survivorr Oof that must be tough. Honestly I can't deal with intrusive thoughts like those, I lose a lot of things. I just lost a pen today lol. Anyways how arer you doing? :)

the worst thing is it feels so real, that there is really something in my pockets, and is going to fall off from my pocket anytime and is going me to make me feel really awkward before everyone.

I get your fear and the awkwardness you feel :(. My HOCD makes me do stuff that is so illogical and weird that I feel freaking awkward ?
