Hi Mike- I'm do sorry your hurting. OCD is cruel, debilitating at times but treatable! Please keep seeing your ocd therapist. It's like climbing a mountain we need to be our own advocates. Of I might suggest some books that have helped me and continue to do so. Freedom from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder By johnathon Grayson The Happiness Trap. By Russ? Anything by Jon hershfield The Imp of the mind. It takes time patience and self compassion. ❤

Okay I always smoke cigarettes and I get down on myself because of that so I feel like I need to be more self-compassionate and realize it's cigarettes is not the problem.

Yes because he is my age. Maybe a little bit older but still close to my age. I see him on Tuesday at 11 a.m. . Virtually of course.I was thinking about trying to see a OCD therapist on this application Before then. Do you know anything about that?

I would highly recommend taking advantage of the free 15 minute call on NOCD. They're knowledgeable. I spoke to a therapist reasonably priced. But I was seeing an ocd therapist already. Stephen Smith the CEO shares his story. I was seeing a therapist quickly I realized she did not know how to treat ocd. It's been a year and I've made great progress.

I understand. It's frightening for non ocd sufferers. It's uncertainty and No one likes that. Are you taking time for yourself? Fresh air? Meditating?
